INTRODUCTION
In education and training, teachers play a vital role in enhancing knowledge and skills of
the learners. Teaching is an important activity which holds responsibility towards the growth and
cognitive development of the students. There are many roles a teacher performs which is of a
mentor, coach and trainer (Batanero, 2020). Therefore, education must be focused towards the
key development of issues and elements like curriculum, areas of specialisation and studies.
There is requirement of key issues that supports the development of objectives and meet with the
needs of learners. For that instance, this report is going to analyse the roles and responsibilities in
own area of business management. Also, there will be key roles and activities that will helps in
analysing various functions, legislations and areas for improvement. This supports the discussion
about the necessary activities like learning programmes, organisational goals and educational
considerations. Therefore, it is important to reflect on own strength and weak factors to take
effective actions upon it. This report is going to consider methods of communication, skills of
ICT, numeracy and literacy.

1.1 Analyse your own role and responsibilities in education and training
Teacher plays a crucial role in education system. A good teacher must have proper
knowledge of the subject he is teaching. An effective teaching style with proper planning helps
students to grab knowledge easily without wasting time. As a teacher, there are certain roles and
responsibilities I need to fulfil like good communication with my students, meeting their needs
effectively, promoting appropriate behaviour, being organised, etc.
The very first responsibility of mine is to make sure each and every student is clear with
the concepts. Clarification of concepts is significant for learning and this is an essential of a good
teacher. Business management is a practical subject and so it includes practical work, known as
training, for students (Hofer, Nistor, and Scheibenzuber, 2021). Business management has many
options for students to opt as a career. Students vary and so do their minds. It is my responsibility
to guide them. It is according to their interest and capability that I guide them.

Being a teacher I am proud of myself, it gives me a power to contribute in country's
future. With great powers come great responsibilities too and they have their own limitations.
Focusing on each and every student might get difficult when there are a large number of
students. Sometimes students might not be able to work or cooperate with each other. Hence it is
my responsibility to look after the behaviour of the student apart from teaching and learning. An
effective way to keep a watch on student's activities is maintaining records but this is a time
consuming process.
1.2 Summarise key aspects of legislation, regulatory requirements and codes of practice relating
to own role and responsibilities.
There are various legislative requirements essential to follow in order to give proper and
precise education to students so that they can achieve what they aspire for. Health and Safety
Act,1974 is quite significant and needed to be followed. To check if there are proper safety
equipments or not while the students are practising and learning. Safety assurance help students
concentrate on their studies and goals. This act not only covers the physical heath but mental
health too. Mental health is generally what we neglect. It is my responsibility to ensure that my
students are not going through any stress because that will affect their academic performance.
Everyone wants to keep their data or information private. Data Protection Act, 2018,
helps the organisation to maintain the privacy of students as well as their staff. If a student gave
me some information then it is my duty to keep that private. It is on this basis of trust that they
will share their problems with me in future too because to solve the problems of learners as a
teacher I must first know their issues (Martin, Sun, and Westine, 2020). Also the usage of
information should only be done to fulfil the purpose for which it was actually obtained.
Following these rules and acts have now become necessary for avoiding conflicts.
1.3 Analyse the relationships and boundaries between the teaching role and other professional
roles
Professional Boundaries – It is necessary for the teacher analyse the areas and about
different other professionals. By understand ting the professional practices the teacher can
establish an effective communication with the students and help them to improve their critical
areas (Subramani, and Iyappan, 2018). There are different tools and techniques which could be
used to improve the reputation the teacher in front of various individuals.
Roles

I follow my role and responsibilities in an effective manner. As a teacher of business
management I develop a good relationship with them to enhance their knowledge.
Personal Boundaries – The teacher sets the boundaries to provide the best learning
experience to the students. The teacher needs to develop a healthy relationship with the students.
There is certain boundary which needs to be created between the student and teacher. As a
teacher of business management I maintain a boundary between the students.
1.4 Describe points of referral to meet the needs of learners
Most of the students’ needs referral it helps the students to boost their motivation and
they can manage their work effectively. The students’ needs the motivation in order to complete
their work in a systematic manner (Schlesselman, 2020). There are various tools and techniques
which could be implement in order to improve the overall performance of the students.
Organizational support – I help the students to solve different problems. I developed a healthy
relationship with them. I ask them about the problems which they are facing while studying the
business management.

Placement of the jobs – I help the students to capitalise on different career oriented
opportunities and help them to understand about different topics in business management. They
need to choose the right career path by improving different skills which helps them to become
better in the future.

there are several topics in which the individual lacks. The main motive of my teaching is to
enhance their overall skills and helps them to overcome different challenges which is stopping
their growth. I always focus on enhancing their knowledge. II help the students to learn better
and overcome their critical areas. There are various quality methods which I am using in order to
grow the individuals. I provide them assignments in which they can enhance their overall

performance. There are new opportunities on which they can capitalise. I monitor there
improvements in an effective manager and making their concepts clears of different business
management aspects.
On the other hand, it also helps the teacher to understand the crucial areas in which the
students are lacking and help them to improve it in a significant manner. The students can
become more efficient. I motivate my students and boost their morale this will help them to
become better in the future. Motivation is the vital factor which helps them to achieve success in
the future. I persuade my students to share different problems which makes my teaching
effective. I maintain a healthy behaviour with them to optimise their performance.

Initial assessments can help the teacher to monitor the performance of the students and
various other areas in which they are lacking. There are different skills and capabilities which

better. On the other hand, diagnostic assessment is to check the individual goals of the students.
It is importation to check the performance of the students and helps them to improve their
efficiency. Both the assessments is important to help the students in different manner. The
students can become more creative and improve their critical areas. The learner mindset is also
