INTRODUCTION
Teaching and learning have their own importance in every personal individual life. The
present report aim is to provide deep knowledge related to teaching and learning in a student life.
To achieve future goals and objectives, an individual or student has a knowledge related to their
subject. Report identify and meet the individual needs of learner and analyse the role and use of
initial and diagnostic assessment for individual learning goals. Further it describe the importance
of appropriate behaviour and the ways to promote the equality and value the diversity. Report
present the effectiveness of teaching and learning approaches which is used in order to meet the
needs of an individual and also analyse the effectiveness of resources as well as benefits of
communication methods and media. Study also present different learning and teaching
approaches which help to meet individual needs and describe the purpose and assessment which
is used in education and training with their effectiveness.
Report further analyse the ways of minimum core elements which are used to
demonstrate in planning, delivering and assessing teaching. Report also describe the roles and
responsibility of ant all over with the companies choices. teacher and different codes of practice
as well as legal requirements that help to relate own roles. Report also shows the relationship
with teacher with other professional roles by showing the internal as well as external
requirements. In addition to this the study describe the effectiveness of own practice in planning,
delivery and assessing the methods of teaching and learning.

1.1 Explaining why it is important to identify and meet individual needs
According to Liu, Song and Miao (2018) every teacher has to believe and understand that
all the learner or student should acquire equal hopes and must follow the aspirations from their
learning. For this reason teacher has to identify as well as meet the individual learner which help
them to achieve best quality because in a classroom, each student come with their emotional,
behavioural and social challenges. But it is up to a teacher to identify their weakness and then
apply measure in order to overcome such problem and then acquire education without any
barriers. After it they should develop talent and remove all negativity in a classroom and creates
a some amount of interest among all student so that it will help them to enjoy their education.

which a teacher has to meet because it is a simplest key which help a teacher to understand the
nature of a student. This is a way which help all student to keep interacting with each other and
in short each activity targets the needs of specific students at the end. Another way for a teacher

cope up with rules and the best example for this is to rang a mobile phone during a classroom.

respect in a classes. Double standard can be occur if a teacher is distracted by their own mobile
phones. For a teacher, being a good listener, not to be overly judgemental, treat each learner as

their point of view is consider can be creates a respect among them. Teacher also need to
remember that many students have no interest in some subject but on the other side they must
have a power so that they may inspire those individual and provide them new career path for
their grooming.

As per the views of Hughes and Donnelly (2018) equality and diversity help to know the
students so that through proper communication with students teachers will easily establish
respect among them. Promoting equality is the biggest priority for the teachers because it will
help them to lead and achieve the goals for students future development. Best communication is
helpful for the students to promote the equality and value of diversity. Being an inclusive is
another method which help to promote equality as well as diversity. In order to raise or promote
the equality and diversity, teachers has to share their own ideas as well as point of view so that it
will help to create better opportunities in order to changes student or learner mental health.
Promoting equality and valuing diversity is helpful to create better environment for a classroom.
Teachers can also conducting new activities in order to keep involve their students in a
classroom which further help to promote equality and value the diversity.

will help to present the proper information and also exclude unnecessary information so that
listener can understood what exactly teacher try to convey.

expensive and time consuming and if the students are not hearing teacher then it can lead to
wrong information. In the case of written communication, for teachers it is quite difficult to keep
the information secret and even it is not as flexible as other methods are. In addition to this, oral
communication or face to face communication has a limitation that a conflict become more
heated and it may lead to tension or stress if a students have a personal conflict with them.
Further, the media also have some disadvantages such as teachers usually uses different methods
of media in order to attract their students but sometimes this may lead to some wrong
information and fails a student to understand the meaning which teachers try to convey. Hence
both communication methods and media has advantages as well as disadvantage but only a
teacher can judge how to deal with those situation.

As per Elton, (2018) resources used for teaching should be very effectiveness so that it
will help to attain individual needs. If a teacher is good in science then it is depend upon them
how they may use their skills in order to meet out the needs of their students. Further a teacher
also help them in reflection such that through instructions, students should be encouraged to
examine the test and revise and even a teacher also uses new and advance techniques in order to
keep enhancing their interest regarding the subjects. Teachers also uses their resources in such a
way so that it will help to encourage their life long learning and also foster their critical thinking
in order to understand their world in better way. Another effectiveness of resources is also help
to encourage students and let them know about the responsibilities for their own learning. Even
an effective teacher also have good knowledge of their related subjects content and skills. So that

provide education to their students. It is best and advance way which help to provide extra
facility to their students. Even altering the physical and social environment will also be helpful
for them. Or another approach which the teacher can be use is that an instructional arrangement
such that by discussing points in group will help them to learn more new things which further
assist them to attain their goals and objectives. On the other side if the student needs some extra
support form their teachers then they can also use the level of personal assistance such as by
hiring a special tutor for them or providing them a helper model that will help to support them
and provide them extra guidance which further help to attain individual needs. A teacher must
uses variety of approaches as per the requirement of a students that will further help to encourage

The purpose of an assessment is to check the quality of students regarding their
performance and to improve the quality of teaching methods which are provided the students.
Such that assessment help for different reason such as motivating, creating, learning
opportunities and providing feedbacks. The main purpose of assessment is to conclude the exact
result which further help to know the performance of every students and if the teachers find any
weakness regarding any subjects then they provide training session or hire some special tutor so
that it will help them for their improvements. Basically there are four types of assessment which
are used in education such as:
 Formative assessment: It is a range of formal as well as informal assessment procedure
that is used by the teachers at the time of learning process so that they can modify their
teaching or learning activities.

 Summative assessment: it comes in an end and is used to acknowledge or present the
records of students overall performance at a given point. This are done at the end of study
period which provide an exact result of individual which they perform at the time of
entire session.
 Diagnostic assessment: it is done to identify students strength and area of improvements.
In this assessment, teacher can easily find out the weak points so that through this,
teacher can take any initiatives for further improvements. This assessment is done to
diagnose what skills a student posses and then their progression level.
 Evaluative assessment: it is concerned with overreaching performance or arrangements
in a schools. It is the last method under which entire method are combine which shows an
exact result of a student. This method mainly focus on their academic result and then

All the assessment methods are done in order to evaluate the actual performance of the
students during a session. The methods of formative assessment basically focus on improving

the other side, during diagnostic assessment which help in evaluating the entire strength and
weakness of a students so the quality of assessment is basically based or depends upon the
teacher's professional ability which they are used during the entire classes in order to produce

delivering all essential minimum core elements. For example, Numeracy term is little complex to
fit into a lesson plans especially with the subject of art but manage to fit it in when learners are
using measurements for glazing there pottery or using the laser cutter which requires practice
measurements (Arnab and et.al., 2015). As per the view of author, learner were consistently
corrected on work submitted. In order to write the assignment, it helps learner to develop their
language a literacy skills improving. It helps to discover the long term challenging goals and
better resourceful planning.
As per the author, there are two main core elements such as numeracy and English. These
two core elements are very much required to take the best possible action that helps teacher to
