Warm up session
 Aims/objectives of the session – Students will be able to talk with security about sports at the
end of class, students will learn about dynamic warm up sessions which will protect them from
injury
 Topic/content to be covered -25 minutes warm up session including jumping jacks, walking
knee hugs, arm circles
 Teaching methods and learning activities (to show inclusive learning) –Students have to look in
the audio post card and explain about it, students will learn pulse raising activity, skill based
drills and dynamic stretches
 Opportunities to address aspects of the minimum core- Warm ups will stretch the muscles and
mind will be focused on exercise
 Resources to be required for the session –Audio postcard, playground
 Formal or informal learning checks or assessment to identify learning is taking place – Students
will be asked to repeat the warm up exercises and a formal test will be conducted
 Opportunities for giving and receiving learner feedback and/or evaluation – Feedback form will
be given to student about warm-up exercises, ideas for new exercises will be taken from student
Specific issues of differentiation, or considerations, e.g. health and safety, risk assessment-The warm up
sessions will ensure health and safety of students and risk of injury will be reduced.

 Aims/objectives of the session – Students will learn about sports vocabulary
 Topic/content to be covered –Sports vocabulary, crossword puzzle, pronunciation related to
sports
 Teaching methods and learning activities (to show inclusive learning) – Students will be
given oral and written exercises so that they can learn grammar, reading and vocabulary
related to sports
 Opportunities to address aspects of the minimum core –Students will be able to learn a wide
range of vocabulary related to sports education and development
 Resources to be required for the session –crossword puzzle, slides, newspapers, exercises,
audio postcards
 Formal or informal learning checks or assessment to identify learning is taking place –Exams will
be conducted both oral and written after one topic is covered
 Opportunities for giving and receiving learner feedback and/or evaluation – Learner feedback will
be obtained at the end of each class

 Aims/objectives of the session –Students will learn the skills of fleeing, dodging and chasing
 Topic/content to be covered –Warm up and specific skills of fleeing, dodging and chasing

 Teaching methods and learning activities (to show inclusive learning) –Students will begin
lesson with warm up , a starting and end line will be marked with a gap of 30 feet, students
will run as fast as possible from the starting till end line
 Opportunities to address aspects of the minimum core –When students start running at full
speed, they can be given instruction to turn right or left and they will learn to turn towards a
particular direction at high speed.
 Resources to be required for the session –Playground, soft balls, cones/saucers
 Formal or informal learning checks or assessment to identify learning is taking place – The class
will be divided into groups of 5 children, where one child will be runner and the others will be
chasers.
 Opportunities for giving and receiving learner feedback and/or evaluation –Life skills will be
taught to children , for instance, they will be given instances like a child is running on the ground
and he falls, feedback will be taken from student on how they will help this child

begin with warm up to learn skills of dodging and chasing.
