Project
AI Summary
This project focuses on the development of a Teaching and Learning System (TLS) for High Quality Institute (HQI), aiming to streamline student data management, unit registration, and improve communication among stakeholders. The project encompasses a detailed analysis of functional and non-functional requirements, a Work Breakdown Structure (WBS) table, and a PERT chart to illustrate the project's critical path. The system design includes class diagrams and system analysis, along with financial evaluations such as Net Present Value (NPV), Payback Period, and Internal Rate of Return (IRR). The project's conclusion highlights an NPV of $11,062, an IRR of 41%, and a Payback Period of 2.12 years. Recommendations include the use of robust security components and the implementation of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) approach. The project also includes a poster and a comprehensive bibliography.

1. Introduction
1.1 Aims and Objectives of the Project
Aims: The project is developed for implementing a Teaching and Learning System (TLS)
for High Quality Institute (HQI). The TLS system would help the student data management and
ease the process of unit registration for the students of HQI. It would also help in easing the
communication among the staffs and other stakeholders of the HQI. Moreover, the HQI would
require the development of the improved network communication and development.
Objectives: The objectives of the project are,
To develop the TLS system for implementing the effective deployment of the operations
and management
To integrate the database of HQI for easing the network integration and data analysis
To assist the students in selecting specific unit for the study module
1.2 Contents of the Report
The project is developed for implementing a Teaching and Learning System (TLS) for
High Quality Institute (HQI). The report had covered the description of the project aims and
objectives along with a list of functional and non-functional requirements for the project. The
Work Breakdown Structure Table and its discussion are also shown in the assignment report.
The PERT chart would be developed for the realizing the critical path of the project. The class
diagram and system analysis is also shown in the report.

8. Conclusion and Recommendations
8.1 Conclusion
The project was developed for implementing a Teaching and Learning System (TLS) for
High Quality Institute (HQI) as it would help the student data management and ease the process
of unit registration for the students of HQI and imply effective communication among the staffs
and other stakeholders of the HQI with the help of improved network communication and
development. The project has shown an NPV value of $11,062, IRR of 41%, and Payback Period
of 2.12. The functional requirements of the project are computer system, devices, backup
storage, network and computer software, LAN cables, infrastructure and maintenance, security
tools and testing, and project plan documents. The non-functional requirements of the project are
availability, integrity, capacity, reliability, regulatory, and usability.
8.2 Recommendations
Use of effective Security Components: IDS/IPS, Firewall, and Antivirus would help in
protecting the system developed from external infiltration
Implementation of SDLC Approach: SDLC approach should be used for developing
the system of TLS and implement it in HQI
