Introduction
This document include my portfolio of some of my works and achievements. It includes
my brief biography and professional pictures. My Instruction management, teaching resumes and
statements, clinical practice evaluation and sample artifacts are also among the content of this
portfolio.
I am an undergraduate at Grand Canyon University pursuing [Enter your faculty here].
I have developed excellent instructional skills as well as key instructional strategies through my
course. With the extensive knowledge and skills I have gained in my teaching career, I am sure I
can deliver engaging lessons, rigorous classroom management and provide an impressive
outcome in examinations.
I recognize that children have learning needs and interests. My aim as a teacher therefore
involve providing opportunities for active learning and skill development while applying the
principles of the universal design for learning as well as the development of suitable open
learning environment.
Classroom Management
I recognize that the ability of an instructor to manage the behavior of learners and to organize
a classroom is fundamental to achieving a positive educational goals. I have attended a
significant number of professional development sessions during my study. These include areas
ranging from classroom management to keeping accurate records to a standards based
instructions. I have all the necessary skills to handle some disruptive student behaviors. With the
vast knowledge and skills I have attained in classroom management, I can say I am perfect in
students’ behavior management and classroom discipline. Moreover, I have a solid knowledge

on effective instructional strategies to deal with behavior and academic difficulties which is
essential in the improvement of students’ academic performance. My classroom management
approach include the following:

Professional disposition
As a professional teacher, I believe that all teachers should exemplify their commitment
and reliability. Teachers should be committed to their work every day and put in as much effort
and time as possible in order to ensure a good learning environment. I believe that all teachers
should demonstrate compassion in all circumstances. Identifying each and every learner is vital
in opening in opening up the ability of the students to grow and learn. Another professional
disposition that I believe should be reflected in my class is the ability to accept suggestions from
colleagues and critiques. I can decide on how I want to conduct my duties as a teacher, but as
always, new things are available to learn about. As a result, I have to accept criticism from my
colleagues.
Professional teaching philosophy
I believe that teaching is a calling. I have had passion in teaching since childhood and I
consider teaching and mentoring next generation to be a great privilege. One of the main drivers
of my teaching profession is giving skills back to society. By giving back to the society, I believe
that I can greatly impact future generations. I believe that learners must be provided with the
required skill development opportunities for their success in every aspect of their life. Moreover,
learners have varying academic skills. As a result, in order to help students to maximize their
skills, I dedicate time and ensure that every student get a concept. I aim to add new skills to
learners to my students and ensure that the environment around them facilitates skill

development. Lastly, I believe that every learner have with unique perspectives and methods for
learning. It is therefore my responsibility as a teacher to identifying all these qualities for each
student and teach in this context.
As a teacher, I always aim to be excited about my profession each time and transfer this
enthusiasm to my learners. It is important that learning is made accessible, valuable and
enjoyable to all learners. I therefore suggest discussions and projects on basis of what I find
exiting to my learners. In this, I choose modern examples that my students are familiar with in
order to deliver to them the best possible. These involve popular media such as videos, real
objects and computer media among others. I believe that a teacher should always remain
informed about the current trend in order to stay up to date. I am always open to learn anything
new. This is essential for me as it helps me stay up to date and ensure that my students are
provided with the current information.
