INTRODUCTION
Teaching practice define as the integrated learning, it explains the time duration in which the
students are working in the institution so that they will gain the specific knowledge and training
in order to apply in a practices (Lopez and Sabir, 2019). This report describes about the teaching
practice generally in the reception teaching. In this it involves the theories on the classroom
management.
MAIN BODY
Pedagogy: Pedagogy defines as the art and teaching profession, it involves the different
approaches of the teaching, as feedbacks, all type of assessments. It is important for the teacher
to have the relevant skills which makes them able to plan or lead the lesson, it also aims to
enhance the knowledge of the learner.
Behaviour: Behaviour in teaching describe as every teacher required to analyse the behaviour
of the student, it helps them to prepare the plan and to prevent the outburst behaviour in the
future.
Theories on classroom management
Fredrick Jones – The positive discipline model
Positive discipline model defines as the effective way of the teaching in which the tutor
teaches the student about what their behaviour is accepted or not accepted in the classroom.
therefore, it implies the discipline in the classroom so that the student will behave appropriately.
According to the Fredrick discipline in the classroom can be understood as suitable business for
implementing the standards in the classroom and to form the cooperation patterns to enhance the
learning process by reducing the disruptions. in order to make successful this theory four main

pillars are required which are setting of the limit, positive and omission trainings and the backup
process system. for that reason reception teacher needs to respect the student so students also
give them respect. if teacher is acting or dealing the things in mature way then student also likely
to follow the tutor's behaviour (Pokorny and Warren, 2020) This theory explains as in order to
teach the good behaviour to children, while make them understood what is consider as bad
behaviour without hurting them physically. Thus theory describe to guides the children as to
provide them information to identify the danger and keep themselves away from such activities.
Albert Bandura – Social learning theory
This theory mainly defines the key points of observing, modelling and behaviour of the others.
Albert proposed that Social learning theory believes that how the environmental and cognitive
approach act to impact the human behaviour. As for the teaching purpose it defines as how
children's are observing the attitude of others. In the society individual are surrounded by many
people as children first observe their parent’s behaviour, their friends and their teacher’s
behaviour at the school. As this modal mainly provide the examples of the behaviour to observe.
Through which the individual pay attention to their surrounding and imitate their behaviour. In
which it says that child imitates others behaviour, they observe the conversation between the
person, also observe their way of talking. For an example if the parents of the child sees that girl
is playing with her doll and conveying that what type of child you are it gives the appreciation to
the girl and also enables her to repeat the behaviour, therefore child's behaviour is strengthened.
Edward Ford (1994): Responsible Thinking Process (RTP)
It is the theory which can be describe as a way to provide the information to the educator as to
teach the student how they can create the sense of responsibility in themselves. it is the way
which the tutor enables the student to think about their life, and career. The main aspect of this
theory defines that how children will focus on their goals and objectives. in short tutor need to
teach the values as how the student will respect others (Kath and et.al 2020). As if the child is
continually doing the behaviour which is not tolerated in the society, then their parents teach the
child to behave in a manner. As like in the classroom environment teacher teach the values and
moral norms so that student thinks positive and behave responsible towards others. In this the
theorist consider RTP as a perceptual control theory, that is based on the negative feedback

standards. It is mandatory for all educational bodies as teacher, administration student need to
respect the other’s right. Therefore it is important to behave in a manner so student also follow
tutor’s behaviour. For that tutor can begin to arrange the activities where no punishment and
reward given to student, it’s just a discipline activity so everyone take responsibility of their
behaviour and follow the discipline
Importance of the classroom management theories:
1. Chatterbox behaviour: As some student are found who talks more during the ongoing lecture
it is the bad or irrespective behaviour for whole classroom. By teaching positive discipline
model will help the student to practice self discipline and focus on developing skills and
knowledge. for the reception teacher they can proceed to teach student as to be responsible
for others and for their growth.
2. Brooder behaviour: As some student work on their mood, which is also a distraction for the
tutor. Therefore tutor need to analyse why their behaviour is moody as they are surrouned by
the negative environment. In such Social learning theory will be beneficial, as tutor can
begin to talk with the family members of the student so they change their behaviour, it
enables the student to exhibit better behaviour, also make them able to behave properly in
classroom.
3. Alpha behaviour: It is the irresponsible behaviour by the student, as they deny to complete
their work. In this teacher can proceed to taught the Responsible Thinking Process which
helps the student to analyse their behaviour and develop concern about the responsibilities.
It can also put the question for the student as if they keep their negative attitude then what
will be the future consequences of it.
Visual and Autistic:
Behaviour for both the visual and autistic involves the lack of the eye contact, as the student who
re suffered from the autism inhibit the rigidness and possessiveness in their behaviour. Visual
behaviour which is mainly the eye movement process. Tutor can proceed to use the visual
behaviour for making the autism or other special student to understand the topic, by using the
different approaches. For an example to allow the student to choose the card, as yellow card
going to toilet. Therefore, Reception teacher can also proceed to follow the strategy in order to
help out the autism children.

Pedagogical strategies:
Pedagogy is the process and practice in the education, it consists of the theories and the
principles which are used to impact the teaching and learning approaches. This definition covers
the many aspects which involves the teaching styles, assessments and the feedbacks. it defines
the various teaching methods. some pedagogies theories are defining as:
Behaviourism:
Behaviourist pedagogy use the behaviourism theory in order to address its approach. It
says that the learning process is the teacher centered and it provides the approaches to the direct
instructions and the lessons which is based on the lectures. At the teaching student this
behaviourist pedagogy can be understood as tutor is the sole figure who leads the lecture in the
classroom. It is also describe as the traditional teaching style (Maddamsetti, 2020).
Constructivism:
It is the theory which describes that the people learn from their experiences. It is also
consider as the invisible pedagogy because in which the student is put in the centre. this theory is
mainly use in the project work or the investigation based learning. As in this constructive teacher
thinks that the student required to develop the experiences which will be beneficial for their
career. Therefore for the reception teacher it is important to learn from the experience as it makes
them able to enhance the learning process of the children.
Social constructivism:
This theory can be understood as involving the guided teacher and the centered student. It
is define as the collaborative learning, in which the learning process can be done by collaborating
the student with others or with the teacher so that any queries can be solved.
Example on the theories for applying in practice
 As for the reception teacher they can use the pedagogy theory in their teaching method to
achieve the learning or teaching goals. By applying the Behaviourism strategy tutor can
proceed to give the feedback to the student so that it can help them to improve their
learning areas.

 In the constructivist classroom tutor can begin to provide help to the student to enhance
their knowledge and also to manage the student existence in the classroom. in this tutor
not only focus on their teaching style but also focus on the students learning (Lee,
Coomes and Yim, 2019).
 For the social constructivism reception teacher can do is to enable their students to come
up with their questions, to develop their own theories which is beneficial for their
learning process.
Effectiveness of the pedagogical principles
Pedagogical principles are as follows:
Motivation:
Motivation is the effective process which can make the every thing possible, therefore for the
tutor it is their major responsibility to encourage the student so that they will move forward in
order to achieve their learning goals. for the reception teacher it is important them to boost their
student if they are facing any problem in carrying out the task. . Teacher can proceed to outline
or make notes for their specific subject which gives them encouragement in order to teach the
students.
Exposition:
It is the well structured teaching style, in which there is no certain distraction so that teacher can
easily teach their lesson to the student. It will give the chance to the teacher to develop their
personality. it is the presentation of the lecture, in which the tutor have their control over the
topic which helps them to taught to student (Dagdilelis, 2018).
VARK model:
VARK model define the visual, audio, reading and kinaesthetic factor, it is the teaching method
which helps the student to develop the knowledge in effective manner.
for example reception teacher can proceed to give the lecture by the visual representation
as to use the graphs, charts and videos in order to enhance the practical knowledge of student. for
the disable student they can proceed to provide the lecture in audio mode. teacher can proceed to
focus on the writing/ reading of the student or to make them able to read write any assessment.

Kolbe model:
It is the learning model which is designed to enhance the internal cognitive knowledge of
the student. it involves the stages which are define as-
Concrete experience: Self reflection is important for the reception teacher they can develop the
understanding from their experience as to analyse the certain situation as what they feel about it
which makes them able to enhance their teaching abilities.
Active experimentation: Reception tutor can proceed to apply their newly developed knowledge.
Abstract conceptualisation: In this reception teacher can look in themselves and think about the
other approaches as what they can do better.
Reflective observation: It will make the teacher to think about the situation as what they did
wrong, what things can be done. it will give them sort of information which they can proceed to
apply.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it is concluded that the bring the teaching process in the practice
can be beneficial for the tutor. it would enables the tutor to effectively set the goals of the learner
or to provide them better learning environment in which they can easily learn or acquire the new
knowledge.
