This white paper addresses the critical issue of computer literacy in elementary education, particularly focusing on the challenges faced by students in Arlington County. The author, drawing on extensive experience teaching computer classes, identifies the lack of interest in computer technology among children, their preference for online games and social media, and its impact on their academic performance. The paper proposes solutions such as introducing programming skills in elementary schools, and designing adult computer classes in public schools to encourage parents to participate in their children's learning. The author targets Arlington Public Schools as a pilot, advocating for the integration of technological education and the provision of updated technological tools to enhance children's computer programming and game design skills. The rationale emphasizes the importance of giving all students, regardless of their background, the opportunity to learn about technological formalities and improve their school hours with introduction of programming and teaching basic computer knowledge.

1TEACHING
Your field of expertise and specialisation
My area of knowledge was mainly the instruction instructor in our teaching college. For
about more than five years, I have taught various types of a student before moving into the
United States. Soon after arriving at the place, I continued to teach computer classes for more
than ten years as my field of instruction was information technology. All the information
technology now is one of the most I was filled focusing on children as well as the millennial, but
computer literacy introduced me into new teaching techniques and problem-solving s methods.
Three contemporary problems you identified as potential problems for your white paper.
One of the most important problems I had identified throughout my experience when
working with families in Arlington country was the lack of interest among the children for
computer technology. The students there were more focused on playing online games, roaming
throughout the internet and as well as communicating with your friends throughout the social
media applications. If they are doing this for a long time, this will undoubtedly continue to affect
the children from an early age which, will later decrease their grades in the higher secondary
schools. I feel that these children will be struggling to catch up with various types of new
information technology trends which, will be based on their studies such as mathematics and
other information technological studies. I feel that learning the necessary programming skills for,
an example in the elementary school, will be enabling the children to study computer
engineering, science and other computer and information technology-related fields which are
now of much in demand in the job market.
The second issue which I had found during my studies over there was the areas covering
programming computer literacy. As I was instructed as an adult computer instructor for more

than ten years, I have found out that the parents could be one of the most important driving
factors behind their children in developing the computer field. They should I had made up my
mind in the open in a classroom for both the parents and their children to work together, but
children will be helping out their mother and father to understand the instructions better and
sometimes interpreter things when needed. This method had developed, and age to the classes
well parents as well as the children feel satisfied and both accomplished. I think that designing
an adult computer class in public schools will be opening up with new creativity and
opportunities whereas encouraging both the parents and as well as their children to think about
the information technology, as a field to consider growth shortly.
One problem that you plan to target
Due to the lack of technology in the core training of elementary schools has been one of
the most critical problem and issue in the present date. Therefore I consider this to be an ongoing
issue in both the private and public School where the introduction of technical education is
essential in high school. It clearly shows that there is less interest in information technology
knowledge in the elementary students, which is deteriorating their talent and as well as in
technologies related to games and new devices. Also have lack of lapse which are equipped with
the latest technological tools, robots and use of new technological devices in the helping the
children to learn some of the computer programming and game design inside which will be open
in the door too many of them who think that technology is their future at the early age.
Your rationale for selecting this problem
As an educator I what's going on with various types of public school, but I have seen
money talented children elementary schools you never give a chance to learn about technological

formalities. Helping the student's images to grow with the introduction of programming and
teaching basic computer knowledge will help improve their school hours.
The audience you plan to target
The audience for this area or idea would be Arlington public School as a pilot target. as a
formal employee, it will also be straightforward for me to communicate with the administration
and discuss various types of an innovative idea to convince the system so that it can adapt the
technological information process as soon as possible
