First Part:
In case of teaching, the openness and the connectivity can generate better outcomes. The
availability of social media increased the openness and connectivity (Gerbaudo, 2018). Using the
social media, teachers can take several moves to get benefitted by the openness and the
connectivity as well as improving their productivity. On social media, I created a forum where
the teachers can join and share their experiences to teach diverse range of students. Both
experienced and new teachers can join my group. Sharing the experience and knowledge in the
group is beneficial for the new teachers as it facilitates them to increase awareness on the various
students. The experienced teachers can also enrich themselves with the new insights obtained
from the group.
Second Part:
The social justice issues include the concern over a range of subjects including the racism,
gender issues, and discrimination over sexual orientation, nationality and disability. Working to
achieve the shared purposes can help all the associated parties to overcome the problem and
obtain the benefits. Several examples of shared purpose can be observed while running a school
for the disabled children. In such a school, the intern volunteer teachers can be hired to teach the
students. The experience of teaching enables the new teachers to learn the teaching techniques
required for skill development among the disabled students. The new teachers can share their
ideas with the experienced ones. It can help the experienced teachers to teach the students in new
and innovative way. The knowledge sharing among the teachers results in development of
innovative techniques. As a result, the students can learn in the most effective
manner.
The goal of shared purpose is obtaining benefit of all the parties involved (Fuchs, 2017). In this
case, both the new and experienced teachers are benefitted. As an effect, the teaching method
gets improved.
