Purpose: The purpose is to examine benefits of working in a team. Being a team
member, it is possible to learn from others. A lot of people having unique skill set work in a team
together. Here, team working not only helps in improving knowledge but it also improve
productivity, interpersonal skills, communication skills and more. Working in a team is a great
pleasure for me as it gives opportunity to learn from co-workers. It is possible to learn from their
skills, knowledge which help in getting growth in future period of time. Here, main purpose is to
learn how to communicate with different people, work collaboratively with each other.
Scope: The scope of working in a team is for career growth, skill development, future
betterment and so on. But, it is required to have certain skills such as communication skills,
interpersonal skills, optimistic attitude and more while working with a team. While working in a
team, it is essential to maintain proper communication with team members. Sometimes, one
needs to cover up the weak points of fellow team members. Taking part in a lot of team building
activities helps in maintaining proper communication with co-partners in activities and project.
Leadership qualities also help me in providing guidance, support to other team member.
Collaboration is one of my capabilities which help in working with co-workers in an effective
manner. Hence, there is great scope of career development and enhancement during tam building
activities.

Team work refers to the collective efforts of several individuals to attain common goals
of business. Team building refers to create a team of several individuals who work together with
an aim to attain common goals. Here, different individuals work in a collective manner in order
to realize organizational objectives. In business, team building activities helps in motivating
people and also assists them in identifying strengths, and addressing weaknesses for future
betterment. Maim aim to team building is to promote collaboration at work place (Ying, 2018).
In present report VEND is taken into consideration. It is a prestigious company of UAE. It is a
retail POS system which allows users to add product for sales quickly by use of scanner or by
tying keywords manually. In give assignment purpose of team, characteristics of team, role of

Types of team:
Functional teams: It is a team which is permanent and the members of this team are
