facility of buying products from the company. The company is basically a manufacturing
company which deals with clothing as well as footwear. The company presently works as a
distributor for clothing as well as footwear. The company mainly serves to the retailers and meet
their specifications. It is estimated that the profit of the company will decrease gradually in the
coming years and so, the company has decided to make its own brand of products which is lower
the cost of clothing as well as the footwear. If the company sells its own products, then the price
of the product will decrease as there will be no retailers in between the manufacturer and the
customers. The quality of the product will also grow higher as the manufacturer directly sell the
products to customers. If Apparel Brands sells the products online the customer will be mostly
benefitted from the decision. As the price of the product will decrease without involvement of
retailers, the customer will be able to get the products in lower price. The customers will also get
good quality of products and they can get all size of products at all the time. As Apparel Brands
is itself a manufacturer, it can manufacture all sizes of products and without the involvement of
retailers, there is no need for the customer to wait for their desired size.
Target Market
The target of the company is mainly to launch its own brand of clothing as well as
footwear in the market. The company mainly targets the customers in the market. The people in
the market who buys online products will be targeted by this decision. The main characteristics
of the people are to buy online products with cheapest price available. The price of the product

delivery.
Gathering Information
Firstly, for setting the proposed venture the team should collect all the information
regarding sales as well as packaging of the products from the customers. The team should also
collect information related to quality of products that will be served to the customers. There
should be detailed information about what changes Apparel Brands requires in their information
system, how many employees work under them and the number of machines that are required for
making the materials. There are also raw material cost and carrying cost involved in the whole
procedure which are very much essential for making the automatic information system. The team
should also let the company know the number of hardware and software they need to implement
information system in the company. The development team should also set a questionnaire that
are to be asked to the managers of the company and the employees of the company separately.
These informations are very much essential for building up the information system.

growth of the company. The business development is a team that will help to analyze a new
business plan in the company, will execute the plan as well as optimize the profit of the business.
Steps to be followed for setting up Ecommerce Venture
As Apparel Brands is a manufacturer company and it mainly works on products of
making cloths and shoes, so there is no need identify a particular product for online shopping and
there is also no issue of selecting a manufacturer for that (Eys et al., 2015). The steps that
Apparel Brands should follow are stated below:
Select a particular brand name for the company which should be attractive for the
customers. The name that is to be chosen for the company should not match with other
online website. This this way they can secure the online presence.
The second process is to develop a website for implementing online shopping. The
website should have an attractive design and a good interface by which the customer can
interact with the company easily.
The shipping process of the products should be done fast as soon as the products is

price of the goods, and fast delivery to the customers, the productivity of the company will also
increase simultaneously. As because of the company is expected to face a loss in the coming
years, this is the best idea to launch their own brand name online directly to the customers.
Determining the cost
The cost of the product will be determined only till manufacturing the product. The raw
material of the products and the making charges will be considered as the manufacturing cost of
the product and there is also an extra cost of the product which includes the delivery cost.
Sometime the company may charge shipping cost or sometimes if it is possible the company may
