2. Under the Competency 10 of APM Competencies, which is known as resource
management, the resources that help in the connection of project management with the UN
SDGs are based on putting focus over the people living in the UN who primarily live in the state
of poverty. These people mostly lack terms based on infrastructure, proper healthcare, education
and security. People in these countries are also affected from hunger, exclusion from different
decision-making procedures and social discrimination.
3. As a project manager, there would be a massive need to understand the basic goals that
need to be set for attaining the concepts based on sustainability. This could be linked with the

achievements from all these developments, it can be discussed that the proper understanding of

would help in achieving the objectives that have been set for SDGs.

competencies from Competence 1 Ethics, Compliance and Professionalism, it can be discussed
that the project manager would need to have a strong sense of grasping the market opportunity.
They would thus need to understand the ethics and social responsibility that would lead to
manage the various projects efficiently. The impact of CSR would help the project managers to
understanding the importance of ranking different social issues as per their critical state and also
put them under the consideration of impact and probability.
