Introduction
• Team management facilitates in opting
right people who possess relevant
skills and knowledge in order to
accomplish goals within specific
period of time. By effective team
management, a leader ensures that all
team members are contributing
equally and track progress for
successful attainment of task.

What is team and group ?
• A team is formed with a purpose to
accomplish single goal through contribution
of various individuals. All the activities are
allocated as per skills and knowledge and
ensures that all activities are done as per
pre-determined plans or not.
• Whereas group is like a number of
individuals who come together with same
interest in order to share thoughts and views
with each other.

Formation of group
• A group is being formed in order to
enhance skills and to acquire new
set of skills. Formation of group is
an interesting task and I was
curious to know who will be my
team members. I was placed in a
group with my best friends and I
was happy to be a part of that
group.

Reflection on contribution in group
• In the initial stage, I was bit
nervous as this was the first time I
was working in a group. It was
totally new feeling for me but my
group members were very
supportive and polite. They
supported me in every aspect.

Skills required for team management
• Communication skill

Recommendation
• Quality of leadership is crucial for
systematic team management. It is
imperative for leader to identify
needs and wants of team members
and tries to fulfil by which they can
be made engaged within given task.
Along with this, leader should fill
members with motivation so that they
can work with peak potential and
makes task more effective.

Conclusion
• From the above presentation, it was
concluded that team management
plays vital role in accomplishment
of task. It involves various skills
which contributes in team
management. At last, Tuckman’s
stages of group formation is
presented in this report.
