TABLE OF CONTENTS
I. INTRODUCTION
In many businesses, human resources have been and continues to be a controversial topic.
Human resources (HR) are essential in supporting the business's goals; thus, it is critical to
provide a professional working environment in which employees may flourish. Organizational
behavior, in particular, is a crucial topic in the study of relationships between individuals in a
group or organization. Recognizing this, Microsoft Vietnam is currently hard at work
implementing a development strategy termed "Windows 11 Development." As part of this
project, appropriate development methodologies will be established. The implementation by
Microsoft should be reasonable and practical. We shall apply organizational behavior theory to
Microsoft Vietnam in this article.
Our team will plan the work and development process for Windows 11 here. Professional
conversation and collaboration will be used, and highly exceptional members will take on duties
that are appropriate for their talents. Their abilities are as follows:
+ Duong Nguyen Dang Khoa (working in management department - Team leader position).
+ Nguyen Thi Phuong Thanh (working in the management department).
+ Nguyen Thi Hong Cam (working in Marketing department).
+ Ta Hien Kien (working in the product production department).
+ Tran Ho Trung Phong (working in the software engineering department).
+ Do Thanh Tung (working in the software engineering department). (this’s me)
II. MAIN BODY
P3. Critically analyze facilitators and obstacles my team faces in teamwork, and how my
team leaders and members manage them. Explain what makes the team effective and
ineffective.
1. Critically analysis of my group's facilitator (team leader) Personality and values.
+ Personality of the manager (team leader)
There are two persons in charge of the management department in my group (including Mrs
Phuong and Mr. Khoa). They collaborate to keep the Windows 11 team on track with
development. Mr. Khoa is in the midst of the group leader role, having taken over and
supervised the group work according to the given timetable with Phuong's assistance as a co-

manager in the teamwork process. In the next sections, I shall examine the manager's
personality (including Mrs Phuong and Mr. Khoa).
+ Mr. Khoa who is in the middle of the group leader position.
Mr. Khoa is a driven individual. In the course of working as a team, I've witnessed this via the
aims and methods of choosing workers who share his ideas in the creation of Windows 11
projects. He has always been the one to provide ambitious development steps and tactics, as
well as clear Windows 11 development directions. Specifically, during the selection and
assignment of members and tasks. To invite the team to work on this project, he always
chooses those who are extremely creative and have the capacity to generate outstanding ideas.
He scoured the various departments for the best people and invited them to join the team.
Following the search, he discovered 5 talents to join Microsoft's Windows 11 development
project in 2021. He chose Phong and myself to lead the software technology department. These
two individuals are regarded as the company's finest employees in this sector. "The most
essential and successful component in this project is in the software engineering area," he
explained. As a result, it demonstrates that Mr. Khoa is a highly compassionate individual with a
high level of self-observation and project knowledge. During project development, he carefully
chose and evaluated each department's skills. From there, he assigned the right task to each
member of the Windows 11 development team.
In the Big Five personality model he belongs to Conscientiousness (Lewis Goldberg, 1950) .
Being a person with this personality is extremely thoughtful, has good impulse control, and
goal-oriented behaviors. This is evident in our teamwork. He always cares about the team
members how they feel today . Moreover, Mr. Khoa always motivates them to work with
attractive rewards when spending is achieved. Mr. Khoa does not push employees to work too
much, because he always wants them to be comfortable and work happily to bring out the best
results. Mr. Khoa is often interested in the organization and pays attention to details in the
process of teamwork. This helped her to see the work that was not under control and
motivated everyone to complete according to the set milestones. In addition, Mr. Khoa always
plans ahead from the very beginning of the project implementation, always thinks about
whether his behavior will affect other people's discomfort, and pays attention to deadlines.
according to the schedule set by the project. Above all, Mr. Khoa will complete important tasks
immediately without delaying them.
He is an extrovert according to the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator's Measurement of Personality
Traits (Katharine Cook Briggs and Isabel Briggs Myers, 1917). These things were demonstrated
throughout Mr. Khoa's work. When Mr. Khoa spends more time with the team members, I find
him more energetic in the process of managing and operating the group. As a result, everyone
is constantly empathetic, and everyone is eager to collaborate. Above notably, throughout the
challenging era of collaborating on the concept of Windows 11 development, he always

proposes solutions to overcome obstacles. It is clear from this that he is the sort of person that
thrives in a high-pressure situation. Furthermore, Mr. Khoa did an excellent job of fostering
team spirit, as he want to spend more time talking with team members in order to generate
ideas for the project development process. As a result, Mr. Khoa has always been trusted and
respected by team members. Mr. Khoa has demonstrated the capacity to be innovative in team
formation based on the personality qualities listed above. Not only that, but I feel Mr. Khoa to
be constantly active and in complete control in a competitive setting. As a result, Mr. Khoa can
be highly effective as a target in this Windows 11 development approach.
He, in particular, is constantly capable of self-monitoring. That has been demonstrated via
the collaboration process. Mr. Khoa always has last say over how members convey their
thoughts to others. He wants everyone to agree on his contributions to the development
project and to support him. Mr. Khoa has carried out the job in accordance with the objectives
he established. This has contributed to the success of the Windows 11 development effort.
+ Mrs Phuong hold a management position:
During my job, I saw that Phuong, like Mr Khoa, is a driven individual. As a result, they jointly
oversee and control the project's whole process. Although they share the same project
manager, Phuong has various personality qualities and approaches to working with Mr Khoa. In
this Windows 11 development project, Phuong meticulously monitors the method by which
workers operate in several divisions. To Phuong, each component is equally essential. As a
consequence, Phuong always sets goals and criteria for each department to meet to get the
greatest outcomes. Phuong always thoroughly examines the decisions presented in the meeting
at each level to achieve the best direction for the project. Not only that, but Phuong always
creates conditions for individuals to come up with their own ideas during the working process
so that they are happy with their job. From there, will produce excellent working outcomes.
+ I'm in charge of the software technology department:
I consider myself a perfectionist, and I always want the software product that our team
develops to be of the highest quality. Despite the fact that my responsibilities are in software
engineering, I always make a modest contribution to the final product's perfection.
Furthermore, Phong and I are always available to help individuals not just with goods but also
with technological upgrades for everyone during the working process.
+ Mrs. Cam is in charge of Marketing department for new products:
Throughout the entire process, I was impressed with her work ability. She is a really hard
worker with a positive attitude. The level of professional expertise is extremely good. When I

work with Mrs. Cam, I feel that she always brings a great atmosphere to the group. She had
highly innovative and comprehensive development ideas for this Windows 11 project, since she
was in charge of marketing the image of new goods to the public. As a result, I like her positive
attitude and ability to work well with others.
+ Mr. Phong oversees the software technology department:
During his job, I saw that he was a very diligent worker. As a result, I admire his personality.
He is always a pioneer in coming up with ideas and working with an incredibly enthusiastic
mindset as a crucial element of software development. When it came to problem solutions, he
addressed them swiftly and significantly contributed to the project's success. As a result, he
always meets the goal that we set for him from the start. I greatly admire Mr. Phong's work
mentality; as a result of working with him, I have gained a wealth of fresh knowledge to help
me develop myself.
+ Mr. Kien oversees the product manufacturing department:
During group work, I saw that he is a diligent worker who is continuously looking for and
learning from other team members about new information. As a result, he always works
according to the set timetable and has a high level of supervision and direction over the
manufacturing department. As a result, the completed product has a great design and
characteristics. I admire his talent and the way he collaborates with the team, constantly having
fun and giving great energy to the members.
+ Values of a manager (team leader)
Mr. Khoa and Mrs. Phuong are both in charge of management. What ultimately matters to
them is completing the Windows 11 development project, which gives success to the team as
well as a product that adds effective value to life. They constantly work with a good mindset in
order to instill that mentality in our staff. They hope to have carried the project's principles and
advantages with them. Since then, effectively completing this project has created an intriguing,
dynamic, and exciting life for them and the entire team. They are always striving to get a very
high value on new items. Furthermore, they should provide job pleasure to our team members.
As a result, when the product entered the market, it sparked a frenzy in the technology
business and generated enormous income for the corporation. Above all, our team has been
handsomely rewarded in this Windows 11 development project. During the human resource
organization process, they picked team members whose personality matched the corporate
culture rather than the features of any specific position at Microsoft. Furthermore, fit in the
team member selection process affects work satisfaction, organizational commitment, and
revenue. That is one of the values they have gained over our time working together.
2. Obstacles faced by my group:
Document Page
Following are the obstacles and difficulties during the work that our team encountered. At
the first meeting, we had a huge debate about the choice of project development for each
individual idea. There were two lines of thought in the group: Windows 11 and Office 365.
(2021). To come up with a shared concept, we had a heated discussion. Different departments
came together to debate and develop the concept of teamwork. Mr. Tung, Ms. Cam, and Mr.
Khoa were three team members that wished to build the Office 365 line (2021).They have laid
out their plans for developing new technology that is bug-free and has more optimized
software than the previous technology. Here's what they'll do for the project and what
advantages they'll provide in order to persuade the group in this debate:
The Office 365 Revolution (2021)
+An yearly commitment is required for all Office 365 (2020) subscriptions. Office 365 2021
packages, on the other hand, may be purchased on a monthly basis, which is ideal for some
companies or enterprises with frequent changes in the number of employees or that utilize
contractors and partners each month stage.
+Office 365 (2020) subscriptions limit the maximum number of users to 300; however, the 2021
edition may not restrict the number of customers.
+ Not that all Office 365 2020 plans include email accounts. If you wish to utilize Office 365 as
an email service provider, you should avoid the Office Business and Pro Plus subscriptions.
After hearing the thoughts of the three above-mentioned individuals, the Windows 11
development project team emphasized the benefits and characteristics of Windows 11, which
will outperform Office 365 (2021). Members that wish to create the Windows 11 line (including
myself, Mr. Kien, and Mr. Phong ) have highlighted the benefits that Windows 11 provides to
the organization.
The following are the differences between Windows 11 and Windows 10:
+ The Windows 11 operating system is designed with optimal security features and stability
when executing apps.
+This operating system will have several new features, such as the introduction of the virtual
assistant Cortana and the ability to synchronize the notification system across many devices.
+ Enhance the software engine with a more powerful configuration for Windows 10 to provide
users with maximum efficiency.
+ Enhance and upgrade the operating system for users to safeguard the device from fingerprint
sensors, facial recognition on Windows is fully supported, and installation is simple. Users on
Document Page
Windows 10 have provided negative feedback on the fingerprint sensor procedure. So, in order
to address the prior issues, we will replace it with a newer functionality.
+ This system software has been enhanced to be able to identify the needed amount of
installation to automatically compress system files in order to minimize the operating system's
storage capacity.
+ Enhancements which provide extra capabilities such as Direct Access, which allows workers to
remotely access the company's intranet over particular secure connections, or the AppLocker
feature, which allows managers to lock specific programs on the user's computer.
Everyone had fantastic suggestions once the two sides shared their skills, but we only chose
one for this development endeavor. As a result, we prioritized the portions of technology that
needed to be developed and introduced shock to the market in order to increase income for
the firm. As a result of the evaluation process, the project leader ( Mr. Khoa ) decided to
undertake Windows 11. This was the first difficulty that we overcame and it took a long time for
everyone to come to a common opinion.
From the most difficult and also the biggest obstacle that we overcame for the project, it
shows that everyone has a reputation and fairness in the teamwork process. There is no bias
towards the team members. Everyone has the right to voice their opinion and oppose the
opinions of others if they do not agree. Above all , after that debate , we had common ground
on the goals and development orientation of the project . In addition , we always respect the
contributions and achievement of the set targets . Therefore , during the working process , we
always help each other among other departments in the team to work at maximum efficiency .
The following are the difficulties we encountered during the development of Windows 11
based on the ideas and plans we encountered after the first meeting.First, in the early stages of
developing a new product concept, the difficulty is that the software design must be unique and
exceptional for new technologies. However, it has not been exceptional, so when I submitted
the proposal to the management department, Mr. Khoa and I did not approve and requested
everyone to debate it together to come up with a solution.Following that, after obtaining orders
from Mr. Khoa and myself, the management and technology departments collaborated to
locate the mayor and provide a solution. We spent a significant amount of time researching the
industry and determining what customers want in this Windows 11 innovation. We addressed
this difficulty thanks to the efforts of the entire team. However, when the proposal was
completed and accepted, the software development process met an issue and failed to execute.
As a result, Mr. Khoa and I went down to the technical department, along with Mr. Tung and
Mr. Phong, to investigate and correct the problem. We kept running into issues in the program,
which were also the most difficult things we worked on jointly during the project.Following the
completion of the software, the technical side sends it to the management department for

censorship. However, when Mr. Khoa and I examined it, we discovered that there were
vulnerabilities in the software and that when the software was executed, it did not achieve the
objective. If this flaw is not addressed, the hacker will attack and destroy the software. So Khoa
and I urged the software engineering department for additional safeguards to keep hackers out
in the background. Finally, at the second meeting, the departments collaborate to develop a
single solution for the product. Furthermore, various departments provide their own
perspectives on how to correct mistakes.Everything was authorized after that meeting. It is a
procedure in which we collaborate incredibly hard and passionately to ensure the success of
the Windows development project. This achievement can be ascribed to each member of the
team, and our efforts have been recognized by Microsoft.
3. How is my team leader and members managed:
In the management department (including me and Mr. Khoa), we discussed together and
gave a management direction from the very beginning about our team. I find that the element
of managing members in it is very important. It determines the success or failure of a project.
So from the very beginning, I managed very closely and monitored continuously throughout the
project implementation. Therefore, employee productivity increased very high, exceeding the
expected target of the project. In addition, our management process positively affects the
perception of team members about the work they have to do and the areas in which each
member of the team needs to improve in order to work effectively. best results. I always
thoroughly analyze and provide remedial points throughout the process of managing my team.
Above all, the tasks that I entrust to the team members are carefully considered to match the
capacity of each member. Besides , in the process of working in groups , I always want people
to give their opinions and argue them to convince other members , not to create conflicts for
the members . I always scrutinize and follow up closely in my work to minimize conflicts and
prejudices among employees. Therefore , in order to do that , Mr. Khoa and I always combine
the analysis of work both rationally and intuitively to bring about good results when working in
groups . Besides , during the working process , we always learn and exchange knowledge to
create common values for the teamwork process .
In addition , we always evaluate the team members in the most objective way . All the work
of the staff is monitored and assigned extremely suitable for each individual. Because we
always consider carefully before making a decision. Above all , we always develop and train our
staff extremely rigorously . Therefore , every member of my team has a careful personality and
a very enthusiastic working spirit .
We understand that balancing the emotions of team members is essential and quite difficult.
Therefore , we always care about our team members . In meetings in addition to discussing
work, we asked if their work history was difficult or unsatisfied at any job. From there , we will
have the best solution to help the members be satisfied with their work , make them happy
Document Page
while working . We have done and have been very successful in taking care of the emotions of
our team members .
4. Explain what makes groups effective AND ineffective:
Team work is very effective in . But besides that, when working in groups, there are problems
that lead to inefficiencies. In the process of teamwork , we also encountered . Here , we will
analyze and explain what makes the team effective and ineffective that we encounter :
+Effective teamwork:
In the process that our team works, team members always have competition with each other
between departments to help promote work efficiency. As a result, productivity increases
among team members. Above all , we have made good use of the talents of each team member
to solve the problem together very successfully . Above all , when we work together as a team ,
each individual is flexible and agile in work . When working as a team, we interacted and helped
each other in our work. So all problems are always solved quickly.
Above all, with the pressure and goals at work, we have created the strength to join hands
and try our best and we have created a successful and good new technology product "Windows
11". In addition , we work in cross - functional teams . Therefore , we have developed new ideas
together and have successfully solved the difficulties that have been encountered .
When we work together as a team , we learn a lot of different knowledge from the industry .
In addition , an effective leadership structure helps team members stay on track and accomplish
assigned goals . It is thanks to the careful management process along with the team working
hard and supporting each other to reach the project's goals.
However , we also evaluate performance and reward employees to let them feel that their
efforts are worth it and that they will work more actively in the process of teamwork . This work
has helped the employees to be happier and more sociable at work, they always show everyone
their ability in teamwork. Therefore , every member of the team always achieves the set goals .
+Ineffective teamwork:
When we worked together, we had a lot of conflicts and spent a lot of time working together.
because , there are many different views among individuals , we have to spend a lot of time
arguing to come up with common goals and direction for the group Above all, in the process of
working there are many conflicts that people are not satisfied with in the process. Therefore,
the progress of the work will be slow, affecting the overall goal of the group. Therefore , in the
meetings we all raise the points of mutual dissatisfaction at work to consider and offer the best
solution .
