Introduction
The productivity of the team depends on various factors which can at times fail due to a lot of
factors. In that respect, the management often lags behind in many aspects including the failure
to achieve the desired objective. Such scenarios should be handed adeptly by acknowledging the
problems that have come in the way of effective management.
Discussion
The drop in team’s productivity can be due to many reasons. The team has been facing a serious
lack of innovation due to the absence of proper technological grounds. In addition to that, there
are no proper method of speedy communication system with the employees thereby leading to a
drop in effective communication with the members. It has resulted in delay in decision making
process which paves the way for low productivity. Another important aspect that has been
noticed while analyzing the low performance is the low motivation of the employees. A
nonchalant attitude has been observed in many employees which has also aided in the low
productivity.
The members of the team should be reached out at its earliest so that appropriate action regarding
low production can be taken (Okazaki et al. 2019). They should be mailed regarding the factors
which has caused this crisis. Moreover, they should also be informed about the steps that the
company needs to take regarding the elimination of the deficiencies from the management’s side.
While analyzing the root causes of the low productivity, all the employees role has been taken
into account. Their works were analyzed along with the details of the timings of each of their
activities done on their individual system. This has helped to figure out the delay in the decision
making process due to effective collaboration. Moreover, the working pattern of all the

A team leader’s role, in this situation, should be one of a great supervisor. The performance of
every member of the team should be deeply evaluated. Moreover, the technological and other
faults that causes many problems should also be spotted in a proficient manner.
Apart from resolving the technological and communication issues that the employees have been
facing regularly, the team spirit should also be given a boost by allotting a day for various team
building activities (Ekienabor 2016). It would also develop a sense of trust and mutual respect
for each other that would lead to effective collaboration.
The manager should be reported about the urgency of the dearth of technological aspect that
aided to the low productivity. A thorough report about the situation should be provided. He
should also be asked to arrange team building activities for the employees.
As a team leader, if the mentioned solutions cannot resolve the current crisis that the team is
facing, a meeting should be organized and all the employees’ feedback and valuable opinions
should be taken.
Conclusion
In respect to the above analysis, it can be concluded that the team leader should always be
proactive in micromanagement of the teams’ performance. The problems that might come in the
way of effective production should also be acknowledged that would be ultimately help in its
speedy resolution.
