INTRODUCTION
A team basically comprises of a group of members and individuals who are tend to be
dependent on each other and working together towards achievement of a common goal
(Danquah, 2021). Effective management of people and team is vital and essential for a firm to
ensure their improved performance in order to effectively meet and accomplish the set
organisational goals. Thus, the current essay compares of a discussion about various theories and
concept of team and behaviour management along with motivation theory to effectively direct
better performance within teams.

With respect to the information provided by the Greene, J., 2021, it has been analysed
that an organisation and business thrive only when they have a diverse and competent team of
people who work in efficient and well-coordinated way to contribute in achievement of
organisational (Management Theories & Concepts at the Workplace, 2019). Along with this, it
has been find out that various psychological factors known as team dynamics are their which
influence the directions and level of team performance and behaviour. Some of these main
dynamic comprises of open communication, alignment and coordination, conflict resolution,
commitment and trust, optimistic thinking along with accountability and empowerment of team
(Ivannikov, Lofichenko and Peregudova, 2021). Implication of various team management
theories and concept are made within the organisation to ensure higher team performance and
positive behaviour which comprises of motivating employee and encouragement. The most vital
team management theory comprises of Behavioural management theory that are more people
oriented and aim at satisfying the behaviour and interpersonal needs of the employees to make
and ensure higher team performance based on positive employee attitude and behaviour. Use of
contingency theory of management has also been made by organisation to effectively manage the
team dynamics which based on the concept that within an organizational theory there is no best
way to organize a corporation or manage the people and team to lead a company or to have and
make effective decisions (Danquah, 2021). But it’s the prevailing situation and circumstances in
which all the decision and way of managing team and people should be based to ensure more

optimal and better course of action that are contingent on the internal and external situation to
have higher performance level.
With respect to the information provided by Menooei, M. and Haghyghat Monfaredd, J.,
2021, it has been analysed that the team empowerment act as a vital team dynamic and
motivation that boost the overall performance level of a group of people as they feel more valued
and confident while working. It has been analysed that the empowered teams are tend to be more
self-sufficient and have a high level of corporate authority along with improved skills,
confidence and higher reinforcing which directs and boost them to have improved performance
through greater creativity level in routine performance. It has been also analysed and find out
that the empowered team members feel more associated and committed towards the work along
with having higher job satisfaction and loyalty level which boost the performance and
coordination level within a team to more effectively accomplish the set organisational goals.
Thus, an analysis can be made out the empowerment of team supports higher encouragement in
team members along with improved motivation and satisfaction level to have improved creativity
and higher performance level (Khan and Khan, 2021).
Along with this, based on current investigation it has been also seen that various
motivational theory and concept such as theory X and theory Y are applied within an
organisation to have improved human work motivation and better management. The theory X
focus and emphasis and emphasis on importance of highlighted supervision, external rewards
and penalties where as theory Y tend to supports motivating through the role of improve job
satisfaction and encourages team members towards approach task without direct supervision
through encouraged improved empowerment (Pinder-Amaker and Wadsworth, 2021). Thus,
implication of Theory and theory Y supports the fact the team members who are having limited
passion for work are motivated and directed by authorization i.e. theory x while the more
enthusiastic and team members who are willing to lead are motivated through theory Y which
comprises higher participation and empowerment of the employees. So, team empowerment
plays a vital role in enhancing the commitment and job satisfaction level of team members that
tend to have and support improved team dynamics and performance (Dutta, 2021).
