Team Performance Plan
Introduction
The increasing amount of population is giving rise to the accumulation of the wastes. The
wastes are accumulated from the factories, hospital, restaurants, hotels and even from the
residences that is the home of the individuals (Chagnes and Swiatowska 2015). So, the
objective of the new lobby group called make a change, will be to utilize the given budget
and prepare a plan that would help in minimizing the waste and develop a sound recycling
plan (Arena et al. 2016).
The Problem
The problem is the lack of recycling habits among people. The available budget has to be
allocated properly so that the concept of recycling can be explained to people, the equipments
can be procured and the staffs also have to be properly trained so that the recycling
programme can be carried on properly. This problem mainly happens due to the lack of
enough awareness among people. Along with this, it is because of the lack of sufficient
number of recyclable methods of recycling and re using all the different kinds of items.
Solving the Problem
The problem can be solved be making people aware about the importance of the concept of
recycling. This can be done by proper promotion and advertising activities. However this will
be a problem as the budget is not enough for carrying on the advertisement or the
promotional activities (Dutta et al. 2018). They can allocate their staffs on alternate basis so
that they can visit the residences of different individuals. They can also demonstrate the ways

of recycling and the need for the same by showing the records of all other countries that they
have.

Conclusion
Thus it can be concluded that the concept of recycling can be properly carried on if the
budget is allocated properly among different functions that are to be carried on. Different
KPIs have to be set up so that the Make a Change lobby group can function properly and can
accomplish their goal. They can also keep and maintain a record of all the countries like
Germany, United States, South Korea and many other such countries for getting the proper
inspiration. They can see and follow the methods that have been used by these countries.
Doing this will help in carrying in the recycling campaign properly and in achieving a good
and a positive result within a year’s time. They will also use the resources from the office that
they are associated with. These resources can be used for marketing purpose. They can use
the resources for gathering the local people who can be trained to act as the workforce of the
lobby group. They can be used for raising the awareness among people regarding the
necessity of recycling.

Roles of team members The role of the team members will be to follow the directions of the leader
manager of the lobby group Make A Change. They have to develop a good
team spirit and work with joint collaborative effort so that they can attain
their objective. They must raise the awareness in the campaigns that
people must start donating clothes than disposing them off in landfills.
Food waste must also be minimized; people must eat healthy or donate
that spare food in the food banks or to the needy people.
Apart from this, the recycling methods of the old knife and the spoons can
be done by wrapping them in a plastic scrap and then contacting the
professional knife maker and sell it as scrap metal to be re used or may be
give it away as donation to some production units.
Responsibilities of team
members
The responsibility of the different employees will be different For an
instance the market research analyst will be analyzing the ongoing trends
in the market regarding the context of recycling, to see the kinds of eco
friendly or recyclable ideas that their competitors are using. The role of
the quality assurance officer will be to check the quality of the products
and the ideas that have been launched by them through regular testing.
Support/coaching/
training options
The training is one of the most important activities that is needed in this
project because the budget is limited and the goal has to be obtained
somehow. If not, the team will be dissolved. The employees will have to be
kept under proper training and quality development process so that they
can perform well.
Training and
development
The training and development must take place before launching the project
and also in the midst of the project as and when the need arises. Special
experts from the countries like Germany who is already developed in
recycling methods must be brought for training the officials with essential
tips.
