CHALLENGES OF IMPLEMENTING IT

INTRODUCTION
 Teamwork is considered as the effort of overall group by collaborating with each other to
obtain a common goal in the most efficient and effective manner.
 Who and how they benefits from teamwork
 Team work is beneficial for the staff as well as the company as it simplifies their work and
help the company to achieve more and more objectives.
 Why is there a resistance to teamwork
 There are various issues which leads to resistance of employees such as violation of fair
practices, concerns related to increase in work load, no response from managers which
leads to no support from them, not aware which role employees need to play and lack of
social support from members of the team.

 What is the benefit
 Idea Generation-
 Benefit of teamwork is that employees will be able to work with more enthusiasm which
will help them to bring out more ideas for the company. Apart from this working together will help
them to increase their knowledge which will even help them individually.
 Advantageous
 It is advantageous because the idea which are derived by the whole team cannot be replaced by
another idea.
 Example-
 For instance by sharing the knowledge of each other employees of the company can come to a
conclusion of idea.
 Beneficial for the company-
 With the help of this the company will get the benefit as new idea will help them to bring creative
strategy or innovation into the market which will help them to get their expected results.

CHALLENGES
 What is the challenge
 Self awareness of team members-
 There are some employees who are not aware about the task and discussions going
in the team.
 Why is it a challenge-
 It is a challenge because it leads to conflict among employees which disrupts the
work of the company and other than this it also leads to low level of connection on the basis
of emotions with the members of the team.
 Example-
 For instance if the employees are not aware about the work then they won't be able
to give new and creative ideas and coordinate with other people.
 Who suffers-
 Managers of the company suffers because of some employed as they are responsible for
managing and looking after the team so that there are less errors in work and every step is
evaluated before it is taken.

 Share the load of work-
 It is challenging for the members of the team to work together to achieve a common objective but it
helps them to share their work with each other which simplifies the work of all the employees.
 Advantageous
 The advantage of this aspect is that it allows the members of the team to perform those task which
is according to their area of expertise and interest. This way they even enjoy the work and complete
it before the deadline. Also members in the team help each other so that less time is utilized on that
step.
 Example-
 For instance sharing the work will reduce the load of work on each employee which will
increase the efficiency of each employee in the company.
 Beneficial for the staff
 It is beneficial for the staff as their work gets shared they never have to face the issue of missing the
deadline and they get the chance of doing that work which they enjoy.

What is the challenge
 Lack of Trust-
 It is necessary to have trust between the members of the team and each member must know
about the behaviour of each other. Members of the team need to focus on work and remain
attached to the work both personally and professionally. Those task which are linked with
the specialized nature of work needs to engage in a conversation with each other. If they
don't then they won't be able to get the point that one is trying to make and without the
human connection they would not trust each other easily.

 This is a challenge because if employees don't trust each other then they won't be able to
work together as a team and will affect the work.
 Example-
 For instance if the trust between employees is not present then they won't share
ideas and information with each other.
 Who suffers-
 The overall staff of the company will suffer as if they don't trust each other then they
won't be able to meet the goals and objectives of the assigned task for which they will be
held responsible by the managers of the company.

CONCLUSION
 From the above PPT it has been concluded that there are benefits and challenges to team
work and each one has different advantage and different limitations which may increase
the work or affect the work.
 According to the benefits covered in the report it can be assessed that benefits has more
weight than challenges of teamwork. Companies are relying more on teamwork rather than
individual.
