INTRODUCTION
Team working define the work that has been done or performed within the team in which
different member that have different personality, attitude, belief, working nature etc and have
work all together to achieve the better and effective outcomes. The team have include the
different members that has huge knowledge in their own field and have performed their task with
more sufficient by which achievable result get achieved in timely manner (Helmreich, 2019).
This report is based on the Asos that is the British online retailer of fashion and cosmetic and
have founded in the year 2000. This report includes the advantage and disadvantage of the team
works.

TOPIC A
What are the benefits of team working?
The team working reflects the collaborative approach with that the people of different
personality have come together to make better outcomes and accomplish the task with more
perfection. The team have work with the motive that the “two head are better than one” and with
that the task has been achieved with more effective manner. The team working is more essential
as well and with that have some benefits as well that are as defined below as:
Promote creativity and learning: The creativity is being more important for the company
and with that the working attitude of the people will get changed in that the brainstorming
ideas will get developed by which productive result has achieved in timely manner. While
working in a team more creative ideas get developed that help to make suitable development
in the career as well.
Blend harmonizing strength: Team work engages the talent by which the ability to get
think will get more developed. Thus all the member get learn something new from the other
mates by which their working capability and attitude will get more developed (Khajeheian,
2018).
Construct trust: The team will get developed when all the other mates have that much
believe in each other by which they get easily understand the norms and shares the strong
bonds by which they are far away from the conflicts.

Teach divergence resolution skills: There are some random situation get arises while
workings with the team but all the mates have that much experience and knowledge that
they could resolve that as soon as possible. In this the capability to get faced the complex
situation and get comes with affordable solution will get more developed.
Why is it advantageous to work in a team?
There are various advantages while work in a team and that are as defined below as:
Division of work: The team get work while divided the overall work into smaller
segments by which all the work will have done as a collective form. In this all the individual
have worked by togetherness instead of doing their individual task (Levitt, 2019).
Mutual responsibility when things go wrong: As if the result is not in the favour then all
the individual have accept their reliability instead of getting blaming each other but all will
try to work will more efficiency.
Manage communication skills: As the team will get higher benefits because they make the
effective communication in between all the members. As the entire individual have
performed their work with more reliance and have share the similar information to all by
which better clarity will get maintained.
The team work is more advanced for the Asos as it helps to get achieve the target and
objective in timely manner and that in parallel developed the productivity of the company.

What are the challenges of team working?
The team work will most of the time have induced the better outcomes but with that
sometime the adverse outcome or challenge get faced by the team and that are as defined
below as:
Nonexistence of team identity: In the team no one can get their individual image better or
developed either the profit will get gained that get share as a team not as a individual. Thus
lack of commitment and effort will induce that exert more complexity.
Involvedness in decision making: There are sometime the rigidity get developed by which
all have more concern about their position and with that didn’t take much participation and
make more argument.

Poor communication: Sometime those people who have higher authority may didn’t get
engage with the team and always show their decisive approach that is more challenging for
other to get make balance with that surround.
Incapability to tenacity conflicts: There are a lot of complex situation will get
developed under which all the team mates have blame each other that shows the aggressive
gesture of the team by which negative result get achieved (Tambur, 2018).
Why is it a challenge?
Team works have induced more creativity and development by which have same
challenges as well and these will get generate the environment that is not suitable for the
company and that challenges are as:
Role uncertainty: It is the biggest challenge with that the work of all the people will bring lot of
responsibility and that will shared by all the team members. It is not easy for those who
never worked in a team as they didn’t clear about what to do and what not do.
Lack of trust: Working with the team all the individual have take their decision by their own
and with this they take their decision as well and never get faith and trust with other as it is
hard to make connection whom they have not know before.
Unclear goals: There are some of the team mates that have make better contribution while
working alone and didn’t get work in a team as n that all the steps will be taken by sharing and
suggesting with the team thus goals will remain unclear (Tripathy, 2018).
Asos have faced a lot of challenges and if that it is impossible for the company to get accomplish
their target within the timely manner.

It has been concluded from the above report that group working is being more important and
with that there are a lot of importances while working with the business. As the team will
includes the different group of people that have working all together to achieve the better
outcome with more suitability. The team work will induce better change with the working
environment and bring more competitiveness by which the rates of production also get more
developed. In addition to this there are a lot of challenges as well while working in the team as it
is typical to make the effective decision making as everyone has different mindset by which it
induce negative impact on the performance.
