INTRODUCTION
Teamwork can be considered as the vital abilities which plays and important role in the
success of an organisation. It also leads to the employee engagement at work place. The teams
are managed by the leader or manager and perform various tasks so that the teams work well and
they can easily achieve the goals and targets of organisation in an effective and efficient manner.
Below mentioned report is bases on effective team working as it deal with various aspects of
team development such as benefits of team working, stages of team development, team roles and
many more.
MAIN BODY
Benefits of team working Increase Motivation: Team building leads to the improvement of motivation of
employees. When the employees work in team, they will surely achieve the goals which
leads to the increase in confidence and they feel motivated towards the organisation. Increase Collaboration: Team building activities is useful in increasing the collaboration
among the employees. Collaboration implies to know about each other at work place.
Team building result in building and developing relationship by network of contacts.
Good morale of organisation: Team building activities result in the increase in fun and
and employee engagement. It include various enjoyable moments. These act improve the
working environment which result in improvement of overall company morale.
Stages of team development Forming: During this stage, teams have to change the ways of working together. It leads
to both unpredictability as well as elation because of new ways of doing work. Storming: At this stage, teams start performing their day to day tasks. It is the stage
where conflict and stress get start among team members. Norming: After reaching on this stage, communication improve and because of
collaborative working, team members find the solution to the conflicts and move towards
the goals. Performing: At this stage, team reach at their higher productivity and they become more
collaborative, motivated and confident.
Adjourning: At this stage, the deliverable wrapped up and team is reassigned.

Team Roles Plant: Member who creates ideas Resource Investigator: Under this, explosion of opportunities and contracts take place. Co-ordinator: The members who clarifies goals along with promoting the decision
making. Shaper: It takes the complete team forward. Team worker: These members provide the complete support to the team and ensure the
cooperation. Monitor Evaluator: these members are responsible for discriminating judgement. Implementer: It convert the ideas into action. Completer: These members give attention to details.
Specialist: The members of these group have technical skills and knowledge.
Managing Conflicts
In order to removing the conflicts, the manager of organisation have to make such
strategies so that no any conflict can arise. The manager have to do difficult conversations with
their team members. After that they have to look in issue and deliver work related outcomes.
Successful Team Development Define the purpose: It clearly define the goals and purpose of team. It involve the
overall outcome. Assemble the team: Division of the complete work so that every team member can give
the contribution. Determine the goals: At this step the vision of organisation break down into various
small and manageable goals and tasks. Set Expectations: The managers define the standard of work at this level to the memebrs
of team. Monitor and Review: Managers perform various activities in order to review the
performance of team members.
Celebrate and Reward: At this stage, the manager have to provide various rewards to
monitor and motivate the team members.

From the above report it is concluded that the organisation should make teams in order to
achieving the organisational goals and objectives. It is the responsibility of team manger to
monitor the performance of members and provide guidance so that they can work effectively.
