INTRODUCTION
In the business work, team work is important for achieving the organisational goals and
objectives of a company. From working in a team, team members can know to each other and
work together with out arising a conflict. In this present report mentioned about the importance
of the team work with the context to business or employment (Patel, Pettitt and Wilson, 2012).
To develop the team work it is important to understand the main or necessary theories which are
related with the group dynamics. Team work is very necessary behind the success of company. I
also working in a team and my experience is good and my team leader is very cooperative and
always motivate to work together is a team.
TASK 1
To achieve the goals of an organisation, it is necessary for all people to work in a team
together. From working in a team, every people will know to each other and work with sharing.
Teamwork is a main part of an organisation. It is the responsibility of manager or leader to
motivate their employees to work in a team together. If all employees will work together without
arising conflict then in this case company can achieve its goals and objectives in an effective and
efficient way.
If workers are working in a team then it is necessary that they should cooperate with each
other in any kind of situation. For achieving the objectives, it is the responsibility of manager to
give training, from this there will be improvement and increment in the skills, abilities and
knowledge of employees (Jelphs, Dickinson and Miller, 2016). In a company, I work as a
business associate and also work in a team. We are three team member and each and every
person is very coordinative and supportive. All are work together in a team to completing our
tasks on a particular time period.
Importance of team work
To accomplishing the goals and the objectives of company, it is necessary for every
employee to work together in a team. From working in a team, each and every team member can
know the capabilities and some weaknesses of each other. Behind the success of company, there
is a big role of team. Some main importances of teamwork are as given below:
Team efficiency- If all employees will working in a team, then in this case the tasks or
work will be completed efficiently, effectively and on a proper time period. With the help of this

the sales and the revenue of company will be increased. It is necessary that each team member
should know each other and their capabilities. Every team member know their strengths and their
weaknesses and also work according to that.
Support each other- To making the working environment positive and strong then it is
necessary for every team member to work in a team (Drury, Conboy and Power, 2012). Every
person in a team can help to each other for enhancing their level of performance and also work in
a team for raising their development. Team members should trust on each other.
Enhanced communication- To achieve the success, it is necessary to make the proper
communication among leaders and also in the team members of a team. If communication will
not be proper then in this case all people will not talk and support to each other. To improve or to
enhance the communication and interpersonal level it is necessary to managers is to provide
training to them.
Share workload- To achieving the goals and the target, when all employees working
together in a team then from this they all are work from sharing and then finish at a given period
of time. The leader give the work to team member by seeing their abilities and capabilities to do
work.
Maintain good relationship- When all workers will work together in a team then in this
case there will be strong and harmonious relationship will be created or developed among all
people. From working together they all know the feelings and sentiments of each other.
Theories of group dynamics
It is a process under which the group members are interact with each other. An
interaction or communication that can impact on the behaviour and the attitude of employees
when they are working in a team or a group (CROOK and WATERHOUSE, 2013). There are
some of the theories given below which are related with the growth and the productivity of a
team in an organisation:
Tuckmen's model- In this model there are various stages are included. Each stage has
some different meaning from each other. There are some of the main stages of this model are as
given below:

Forming- In this first stage, there is a high or big involvement of a leader for guide, lead
or direct their employees or its team members. To achieving the goals or aims of company, it is
necessary that workers should be polite and positive. All employees in a team behave
independently and to maintain the reputation of company. Team leader should be guide their
members in a proper and in an efficient or effective manner.
Storming- Under this, it is not easy to take decisions. In this stage, many team member
fail to complete tasks with in a given period of time. Employees do their work in their own way
or style (Lingard and et. al., 2012). In storming, the main motive of team member is to achieve
their goals and objectives from avoiding any type of relation and the emotional problems or
issues.
Norming- In this stage, the team reach to the stage of norming. The employees want to
resolve their issues and differences and also recognize the strengths and the weaknesses of their
colleagues. In norming, team members start to trust on each other and work together.
Performing- All team members work hard at this stage and want to achieve the set
objective and target. In this step, they all have good knowledge and also motivated.

Adjourning- In this last stage, there is a end of team dynamic. The task is performed or
completed and employees or team members move forwards or work for achieving new goals.
Belbin test- In this type of test, there are many higher activities which test the strengths
and the capabilities of the team leader in an organisation. With the help of this productivity and
the growth of company will be increased (Brock and et.al., 2013). Some of the personality traits
are given below as above:
Team worker- In the working environment, employees integrated by the development of
the coordinator and cooperation of a team. In this, all people will work together in an efficient or
effective manner.
Implementer- This person takes suggestions and opinions from their colleagues and then
it can turn in trio a positive. They are hard worker, trust worthy and always loyal towards the
company. They are very serious towards their work and focus on achieving the goals and
objectives of a company.
Monitor evaluator- These people are very fair and logical judges and they see that what
is going in a team. At the time of problem solving, they take and give their opinion to solve that
and they are very curious towards work.
Specialist- These type of persons are very passionate for learning in own area. They want
to improve or increase their knowledge.
Organise learning and knowledge of an individual
There are many benefits to working in a team. In a team, people are from the different
backgrounds or department but they come together to work in a team effectively for achieving
the common goal and objective of a company which are made by top management. It is the duty
of a manager is to implement policies and plans in a company in an efficient way. Team
members work from sharing the work with out any conflict (Benrazavi and Silong, 2013). If
there is a chance of conflict and in case it arisen, then it is the responsibility of team leader is to
solve it out by providing better solution. In this present time, team work plays an important role
behind the success of a business firm. To make the strong relation in a team, it is necessary that
ether should be good communication among all the team member s from this they can
understand the feelings and sentiments of each other. From working in a team the growth of
company will be increased and it is necessary that there should be the coordination and
cooperation among a leader and its team members (Pangil and Moi Chan, 2014). If there is a

requirement to team members to collect information, then in this case they can take help from
books, journals, internet etc.
Conclusion
It is concluded from the above report that teamwork is important in accomplishing the
goals and aims of company. In this present business report studied about the many importance of
team such as increment in working efficiency, work sharing, enhancing the team efficiency etc.
There are some theories which are related or to state about the benefits to working in a team.
