What I learned about my preferred style of
working with the team
 While conducting this project, I have to work within a team. There is a
lot of importance of working in a team and collaborating for attaining
common goals. In this project, I have worked upon two topics that is
building future innovation capabilities for the organisation and future
of travel and tourism industry. I have used democratic leadership
style while working in this team. I have always concerned about
taking suggestions and conclusions from all the team members and
then only I make any decision.

2. Skills I utilised to ensure the tasks
were completed successfully
The different type of skills which I utilised for ensuring that the task is
completed successfully are mentioned below:
 Communication skill
 Team management skills
 Time management skills

3. Skills I used to work within the
team
There were lots of skills which I used in order to manage the team
management. These skills have provided help to complete the project in
specified time frame. Some of these skills are mentioned below:
 Emotional intelligence
 Ability to delegate
 Problem solving
 Decision-making

4. Communication with the team
Having proper communication is the main key for a successful project. I
think it is very important to have a two way communication with team
members because it will help to avoid any type of misunderstanding and
achieving the project objectives properly. I have focused upon different
steps which are involved in communicating with the team and working
on project which are mentioned below:
 Talking about current skills of the team member
 Setting goal for improvement and development
 Inviting feedback from team members
 Practising these skills

5. Conflict management
I think avoiding conflicts and fights in a team is very important. When
different individuals come together and work for a similar project then
there are chances of conflicts. That is why I think it is important for a
leader to manage these conflicts in order to complete the project
successfully. I have evaluated different ways to avoid conflicts within
team.

6. Lessons for the future
After working in this team, I have learned about how to successfully
manage teams and complete the project work on time.
