INTRODUCTION
Management is defined as a discipline that involves formative set of general functions that
involve plan, organise, staff, lead and control. All these elements play crucial role that allows an
organisation to successfully accomplish their objectives and mission. In this report formative
discussion has been made on teamwork and motivational theories. Both of these play crucial role
through which accomplishment of predetermined goals can be assured in best effective manner.
By taking advantage of motivational theories individual can be effectively persuaded towards
fulfilling their roles and responsibilities with great effectiveness. While teamwork facilitate to
accomplish project or task in a group that involve individuals those who have different skill,
potential and competence through which project efficiency of project enhanced. It leads entity to
gain more competitive advantage and higher productivity. In addition to this report also include
discussion upon reflection by taking advantage of CVF.
MAIN BODY
Define group work by adopting teamwork and motivational theory
Fundamental of Management is considered as a Process that helps in administrating or
managing the business organisation whether it is considered as a profit organisation as well as
non profit organisation. They focus on making appropriate strategy that provides coordination as
well as Corporation to its employees within business organisation. In the given assignment, there
are various theories in relation to teamwork as well as motivation is discussed in improved
manner. It is necessary to adopt various theories in relation to team or motivation in order to
perform different function in an appropriate manner. It is the responsibility of manager of
organisation to use teamwork theory that helps in growth and development of team during the
particular phase of time period (Zhang and Knisely, 2016). The organisation adopts Tuckman
theory that is going to be mentioned below:
Tuckman theory of team development
There are five stages that are involved in Tuckman theory that include forming, storming
Norming, performing as well as adjourning. Therefore it is necessary to follow the Tuckman
theory for achieving the objective of team member in pre decided period of time.
Forming herein the leader focuses on providing direction or guidance to the member of
team that help in achieving the objective or goal in pre-decided period of time. Here in the roles

as well as responsibility of individual person is not exactly clear. Therefore it is the responsibility
of leader to clarify their goal for achieving the objective in a timely manner. Therefore, the
leader focuses on providing direction so that it increases performance level of an individual
person within business organisation. They also focus on performing their work on particular
project in order to complete in target time period.
Storming: After forming, it is the responsibility of leader to suggest them how to
perform their work in good way. Here in there are some kind of conflict arises due to individual
person exchange their idea with each other. Therefore it is the duty of leader to focus on these
kinds of issues and problem which is confronted by the individual member of team that help in
increasing productivity level in future period of time (Largent, 2016).
Norming In this stage the leader focuses on providing clarified goal in order to complete
the particular project in pre-decided time period. The role as well as responsibility of individual
person is clarified and they focus on performing their work in unity that helps in increasing
business activity and performance of work in good way.
Performing here in the individual person focuses on performing their work for achieving
vision as well as mission of organisation. The main focus of member of team is to perform their
project in good manner and the leader focuses on clarified the goal that must be achieved in
targeted period of time. The leader delegates the work to different individual person as per their
capability and competence to perform that work in good way.
Adjourning Herein the entire team member perform their work in good way and they get
separated after performing their work in better manner. It is time to separate from each other
after completing specific project which is given by the top management of organisation (Fink-
Samnick, 2020).
From the above mentioned theories, it has been analysed that it is necessary to follow the
Tuckman theory for achieving the objective of team member in pre -decided period of time.
After this for forming group, it is necessary to explain motivational theory that is given below:
Maslow Hierarchy theory
Maslow theory adopt by organisation for satisfying the needs of an individual person.
There are five steps that must be used for satisfying the need of an individual person that is going
to be mentioned below:

Physiological need here in the organisation focuses on basic need of an individual person
such as food, drink, clothing, shelter and many more. If this kind of need must be satisfied by
business organisation then it is not possible for individual person to fulfil the goal as well as
objective of organisation. It is the responsibility of organisation to follow the basic need of an
individual person for satisfying them.
Safety needs After satisfying the physiological need, it is necessary for organisation to
provide security as well as safety need. Therefore, the organisations offer safety, job security,
health benefits as well as many more for satisfying the need of customer. It is necessary for
company to provide security to individual person during the particular phase of time period.
Social as well as belongingness need After satisfying the above mentioned needs it is
the responsibility of the organisation to provide to satisfy the social or belongingness need. It is
necessary for an individual person to maintain interpersonal relationship of individual person like
love, affiliation as well as many more that help in satisfying them. It assists in increasing
productivity as well as profitability level within business organisation due to satisfied employees.
Self esteem need After satisfying the social need it is necessary for organisation to
satisfy the self esteem needs, status, self respect of an individual person that motivate individual
person to achieve the goal as well as objective of organisation in pre-decided period of time.
Self actualization need herein the manager of the organisation focuses on encouraging
employee to perform their work in good manner so that they achieve the all above mentioned
need in good manner. Therefore the business organisation focuses on motivating individual
person for satisfying these kind of need that help in increasing performance level of an individual
person within an organisation (Fallatah and Syed, 2018).
Therefore from the above mentioned and it has been identified that it is necessary to use
Tuckman theory as well as Maslow theory for motivating the individual person to work in a team
that help in increasing productivity and performance level of the organisation in future period of
time.
Reflection
Human relation
If it is discussed about human relation by taking use of CVF it has been evaluated that I
am team oriented as I usually perform my role and responsibilities with group of individuals. It
not only enhances overall effectiveness of end outcomes but also strengthen relationship between

individual that enhances futuristic growth. With the help of team oriented characteristics I also
guide and motivate other team members towards common goal. With help this behaviour I try
motivation of other members towards maximum productivity. By performing roles and
responsibilities in a team provide the most important advantage that can be assured is developing
human relation. It not only increases productivity but also maximize collaboration among
individual. However sometime it leads towards conflict but with the assistance of strategies and
measures and conflict resolution plans this challenge can be overcome.
Internal process
In accordance with this model it has been evaluated by me that my behaviour is related to
this model as I accomplish my team roles and responsibility with having stability and continuity.
It is one of the most important behaviour that leads me towards fulfilling aims and objectives by
assuring continuous growth. With the help of this I fulfil desired objective in time effective
manner. This characteristic allows me to accomplish team goals in effective manner. It has been
identified by me that with stability and continuity I also motivate other team members that
increases productivity effectiveness. In addition to this stability in behaviour increases my work
effectiveness efficiency that not only enhances my growth but also enhances my futuristic
development. By working in a team I and take advantage of stability and continuity to fulfil
objectives in a well define an effective manner.
Open systems
While evaluation this model in accordance with my behaviour it has been evaluated by
me that I support other team members in an effective manner, as it has been evaluated that in a
team there are different type of individual who are having different still, traits and personalities.
This somehow lead towards creating conflict among members that can hamper overall
productivity effectiveness. Thus, I always aim towards creating an environment in which I
support other individual views and opinions, it not only helps in creating a positive work space
environment but also lead towards generating motivation among individuals, as with the creation
of environment in which every team member support each other effectively increases overall
productivity of end outcomes that further increases growth opportunities in best effective
manner. In addition to this I always aim towards creating positive environment that facilitate
higher productivity and efficiency.

Rational Goal
According to the evaluation of this model in accordance with my behaviour it has been
determined that I effectively welcome new opportunities and challenges and further undertake
effective action as well as measures to accomplish them with higher effectiveness. I will always
strive to fulfil objectives with great effectiveness and direct other individuals towards the same in
order to enhance productivity. It has been evaluated that I am having strong determination and
guide other team members towards common direction by setting clear goals. It not only increases
team member effectiveness to perform their responsibilities but also maximize and outcome
result efficiency. Thus by identifying this theory according to my behaviour I strong
determination facilitates other members in team towards higher productive outcome.
Thus according to the above evaluation it has been evaluated by me that I am having an hard
working characteristic that allow me to overcome different type of issues and challenges in well
define an effective manner I conduct my roles and responsibility with having a positive attitude.
With having efficient behaviour and action I not only accomplish my rules with higher efficiency
but also motivate other team member towards the same.
CONCLUSION
As per the above mentioned report this has been concluded that team work and motivation
act as a crucial element for an organisation or individual, as they increase their morale and
motivation and further lead them towards accomplishing goals and objectives in a well defined
and effective manner. It is essential to properly understand and execute team development and
motivation theories to gain successful and outcomes. Both of these theories have effective
tendency through which successful outcomes in respective time period can be assured. Thus, it is
essential for an organisation individual to have proper understanding of these theories and
execute them to maintain development ensure hierarchy in order to accomplish their objectives
with great effectiveness. In addition to this competing values framework like human relation
model, open system model, internal process model and rational goal model are being discussed
in this report which is align with self behaviour with the help of reflection by taking use of CVF,
it determined individual strength in a define manner.
