INTRODUCTION
The academic and professional skills are develop the range of the students including the
critical thinking, communication, team Working, problem solving skills, etc. this report discuss
the selected problem solving skills which are important in the business organization. It helps in
analysis the why issues are happening and how to solve the issues with in the business. This
report will discuss the challenges of studying the business management and thriving in the
professional practices. This report will also elaborate the importance of the effective academic
and professional developments as well as effective team working skills.

There are various challenges which are face by the students in the business schools and some
problems which are face by them in the academic management. Such as connecting with the new
peoples, learning work in the team, time management, etc.
Connecting with peoples: the challenges are face by the students in studying the business
management is that they are not able to understand and being comfort with the people in the new
environments.
 Time management: the students are facing the challenges in studying the business
management because business student have various scheduling at the time of schooling
and they are not able to manage the other things such as students have to schedule time
for the studies, presentation and assignments tasks which are consuming the times.
 Team work: they are facing issues in the team work because every students have
different perspective such as problem solving so, every have a different solution. It is the
challenges for the students to work in the group and its strongly affects the success and
performance of the project in the business management.
 Multi tasking: students are facing the issues in the handling and managing the multi
tasking challenges because they are not able to handle the multi task at the same time.
They are not able to understand and manage the multi tasking.

There are various challenges which are face by the students in thriving the professional practices
in the business management. The person have the desire career to start the professional practice
in the future.
 Changing environments: it is the biggest challenges for the students because the
changes in the professional practice is difficult to understand for them. The employees
are working in the changing environments and different customers which are challenges
for the employees and workers. As well as provide the different solution to different
clients because every clients have different problems.
 Achieve objectives: it difficult to achieve the objective when the changes in academic to
the professional practices because the whole environment are change during the
professional practices so, there are face the difficulty in achieve the goals and targets of
the life in the business management.
 Value in the experience: the thriving in the professional practice is the most challenging
for the students because of the lacking of skills and confidence in the professional
practice.

in the critical thinking at the time of solving the problems. There are various benefits of learning
the professional skills at the higher education and the academic duration such as improved the
academic performance, career readiness and increase the confidence. It is important in the
development of the academic because it provide opportunities to the students to develop
themselves in the particular skills. There are various steps which are include in the problem
solving such as identifying the problems, brainstorm the possible solutions, test the appropriate
solutions and analyse the results which are important in the critical thinking skills as well.
 Improve academic performance: it helps in improve the academic performance of the
students as well as boost the reflective and critical thinking of the students also foster the
analytical thinking and practical thinking and that leads in academic success.
 Build confidence: it helps in build the confidence of the students as well as result in the
more independent. The effective problem solving skills are important in the growth and
development of the students.

Examples: if the students have the skills of problem solving then they can solve the academic
issues by self without any helps of professors. This skills helps them to become success in the
future career. They are not face the any difficulty in the futures and become the success in the
academic.
Professional development:

in the managers and seniors level roles. It is the valuable skills which are helps in provide the
new ideas and better ways of doing things.
 The problems solving skills is make the easier for the understanding of the people as well
as save the time and money of the customers.
 Problem solving skill is important at all levels in the business management because it
helps in achieve the goals of the business and the personal goals and targets of the
employees.
 The problems solving skills helps in identify the ability and capability of the employees
to over come the difficulties within the organization.
Example: if the managers of the business have problem solving skills mean it helps in solve the
issues of the employees and customers which are facing by them in the business. The customers
may be face the issues regarding the products and services so, the problem solver of the company
can easily solve the problems of the customers effectively and satisfy them with the better
service quality. Employees and workers of the business may also face the issues regarding the
works then the mangers can easily and effectively solves the issues and handle the issues of the

the organisation which helps to find solutions by creative and analytical thinking:

synergy to quickly solve the problems.
 Learn proactive techniques: With the help of team working skill the problem is being
analysed by effectively framing, structuring, understanding and collecting the solution
needed to resolve the hurdle. Team work aid the employees to learn proactive strategies
for better solving the problems which reduces the time, resources and money of an
organisation by forming proper structure to solve (Ferreira, Martinsone and Talić, 2020).
Bigger problems could also be resolved with the help of team working skill by forming
dynamic group or team which would share their ideas, knowledge, information, skills in
a better way resulting in the growth and success of the business.

problem and help them to know what is more important to do in regard to the company.
Working together effectively increases the listening and communication skills of the

the competitors. Team work helps the workforce to solve the problems in an better
organized manner by prioritizing the tasks related to that and executing the plan &
strategies within the given point of time (Quinn, 2020). It also helps them to think
beyond the box as they are learning knowledge & skills from other team members which
they could apply when handling their problem.

assist them to work under pressure in a better manner. Team work develop the planning

hurdles which might come in the near future.

skills. Lastly, the task has been demonstrated with the effective team working skills which help
