INTRODUCTION
Working in team and preparing the group assignment or group project will be very
effective for both individual and group people. I was also working on project of developing
business plan with 5 other group members who are of different personality and coming form
various backgrounds. It was not easy to work with them all in group as it is not necessary that
they all will be agreeing with each other on same point. So this reflective will be covering all the
points onto which we all especially me develop my skills and knowledge.
MAIN BODY
Team work will always be building up many skills and knowledge relating to the topic
and also for an individual development as well. All the people who are working in group are of
different background and they are having their own goal and aim in working in the team. I was
working with 5 other group members on the project of business plan and while working in that
group project there was some skills and knowledge which I learnt.
The main positive point of working in group is that it build up our knowledge about that
topic and come across many new points and gaining recognition about that topic. As before I was
not at all good at working in group I also regarded working in group was nothing but chaos
making activity in which no one was concern about anyone. But after we all come and started
working into group I realized that I'm having potential of working in group and handling all of
them as well. Even thou I build up my learning on the topic, I came to know about what the
company is, in which product or service it is dealing into and how will it can expand its business
by doing more investment. I also developed many skills within me of working into one team and
making connection with the people.
There are some employment skills which I was easily able to develop into myself and
then get the professional experience of working into together in a team.
Team working- this is the main skill which I developed in myself as I was lacking the
experience of working in team and handling people under me. This is very important part of
working into group of people as this will be enabling all to able to understand each other easily
(Hampf, Wiederhold and Woessmann, 2017).

can make correct decisions which were in accordance to my project and team.
Problem solving- it was also my responsibility to solve all type of small and big problems which
was occurring while working into group (Lara and Osborne, 2017). Problem solving skill was
also developed into myself so that I could resolve all the issues which were there among other
group members.
Communication skill- this is also important while people are working in the group to
communicate with one another and how to give the available information to all. The channel
which we are choosing for keeping our views onto the other people in group will be very
significant in this process of communication. I also learnt who can I convey my thoughts, views
and perception with the people in my group and to be able to tell them what they have to do
according to their skill and level of knowledge.
Organising and planning- as I was the team leader of that group so it was my duty to organise
and plan for what we all need ot do, how will we be doing the work and who will be doing what
work. I also developed the skill of organising and planning things according to the available time
which we were having and the source of data which we were having.
Time management- this was very important in the group work which we were doing if an
individual is able to manage their time then he can do that work every efficiently (Gilson, Carter
and Biggs, 2017). Time management will be very important if we need ot finish our work in the
given time limit which was about 3 days.

At this point when all were involved in the group work or activity and making plan of business
of event management it is very important to analysis both positive and negative parts. This will
be helping me in my future working and experience with the team or group. There were 6
members of group including myself as the group leader, we were all making the business plan of
an event company within the set time limit of 3 days. As they all were of different background,
qualifications and personalities were also different from each others. So main problem which
raised working with all the others in group like communication gap as they all were not easily
communicating with each other and this was making lots of problems.
The other problem was that of different personalities who were working there as one
person who was under the project was making lot of problems and issues. He was not able to
communicate with all others in more efficient manner he also creates difficulty while working
into group. This was very hard for me to handle him as he was not listening ot anyone in that
group and was making the winding up of the project difficult. I was not having much experience
of handling the people in group so this was not easy for me to handle him as well.
While there was one who was not having accurate level of knowledge about the
expansion of business plan. This was really very difficult for me to make him understand each
and every thing in that project so I decided that he will be only helping others in their work and
was not suppose to do any work all alone. Communication gap was also one of my biggest
difficulty which I faced while working and making them work according to the set criteria. They
all were not using proper communication channels ot convey their thoughts and ideas to each
other.
There was also problem of proper decision making while working together as all the
decision regarding what data should be used, how it must be used and who will be doing what

CONCLUSION
