INTRODUCTION
This essay aims to analyse leading and managing teams. In lectures, there is a statement
i.e. "Teams are a complete waste of time, energy, and money. You are better off outsourcing your
work to individual contractors". According to this statement, teams are not required as it is
wastage of time. This essay disagree this statement as team is necessary for achieving the desired
goals. For that purpose, 5 peer reviewed journals are undertaken to disagree this statement. Each
journal is showing that teamwork is necessary in every field and place whether it is a school,
family, healthcare, organisation, etc. With the help of teamwork, an individual is able to achieve
their desired objectives effectively and efficiently (5 Important Reasons Why Teamwork
Matters!, 2017). So in this essay, it will be showing that teams are not a waste of time, money
and energy with the help of arguments.

According to the give statement, it is found that teams are the waste of time, money and
energy. The reason behind this statement is it takes training and development programs that raise
cost and still people are not achieving their goals and objectives (Welp and et.al., 2018). So they
waste their energy, time and money. It is also analysed in this statement that it is better than
creating teams that an individual should outsource their work from other individual contractors.
It reduces the energy, time and money and also able to provide effective results. But the given
statement is not completely valid and that's why it is disagreed. It is necessary for every
individual that they should understand the importance of teamwork. Team is crucial in order to
overcome with big challenges, achieving desired objectives as well as developing skills and
knowledges (Tripathy, 2018). This can be more understand with the help of some published
articles, journals etc. which shows that how it is important.
In today's environment, time plays an important role in every field whether it is for
education or for organisations. According to this statement, it states that team is wastage of time
but actually it is not a complete truth. It is true that people require efforts and time in order to

necessary for an organisation to create teamwork culture as it helps in reducing burnout and
boosting morale. Day by day the burnout is increasing due to complex nature of business
environment. Employees feeling pressurising and burnout which can be effectively mitigate with

in every sector so that efficiency can be improved and reducing the pressure.
