Technology can be considered as a dynamic constraint in every organization.
Technology always experiences changes which lay more emphasis upon the developments of
the organization. The technology changes with time and so does the way of using it. In order
to cope up with the present scenario of the market it is mandatory for the organizations to be
aware about the latest trends in the technology and how the technology can prove itself
beneficial for the business. The organizations must adapt to the relevant technologies to grab
the opportunity of competitor advantage in the market. There are organizations which are
flexible and happily adapt to the various technological advancements and also there are
organizations that are reluctant to change. The organizations need to adapt to the changes in
order to sustain in the market whether positively or negatively. The up gradation in the
technology has a huge impact upon the operations and efficiency of the organization. The
organizations can face various challenges while adapting to the new technology in the
business. The study revolves around the adaptation of technology at the business in the
industry (Lestari, 2019).
TASK
Introduction of a new technology in an organization has an impact upon the various
organizations in many ways. The up gradation in technology comes with various benefits and
challenges to the organization. The issue of adaptation to new technology is very complex
and can be more competent than that of the project administration. In organizations, it is the
managers who are the authority holders to introduce innovation in terms of technology at the
organization. The managers make efforts in order to bring the up gradation of technological
purpose into routine use and this could be made easier with the help of education and
experience of the individual that guides the employees towards the innovation in technology
and its implementation in the business. The up gradation of technological advancement does
not mean that organization needs to adapt to all the technological advancements that are
happening in the industry. The organizations must adapt to the changes that they feel are
important from the point of view of the organization. There are various technologies that do
not last for more time in the market while there are some that have a long existence. The
organizations need to analyse the uses and impact of the up gradation before adapting it. In
order to adapt to a technology the organization must analyse various factors such as if it will
benefit the organization in long run and what will be the cost of implementation of the
technology. It is mandatory for the organizations to adapt to the changes but this process
requires a lot of expertise and knowledge in order to take suitable decisions in aspect of the
organization. The latest trend in technology for the business organizations can be seen in
terms of e-commerce and social media platforms (Lin, Wang and Hajli, 2019).

perform better by selling their products with the online platform. The e-commerce has
benefitted the organization as well the techno savvy customers. The people these days are
very connected through their electronic devices which provide them to research about various
products and services that are prevailing in the market. The technological advancement has
allowed the organizations to keep a track of their customers and their purchases as per their
demands. Technology has facilitated easy returns and exchanges for the customers as well as
the suppliers. The business to consumer transactions has also changed drastically with the
introduction of technology (Sadiq and et.al., 2020).
New technology in terms of social media
The advancement of technology has given birth to various social media platforms in
the market. The social media sites such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter have resulted in
better engagement between the retailer and the customers. The communication or the
engagement had not been better prior to the introduction of social media. The social media
has resulted in giving fame to the small local businesses which have a wider reach due to the
social media platforms. The pandemic has raised the reliability upon the social media for
various organizations as well as the customers to fulfil their needs.
Reactions of the organizations to technological changes
The organizations react to the changes in the technology in a positive as well as negative way
too. The reaction towards the technological changes depends upon the mind-set of the
individuals of the organization. The positive and negative reactions of the organizations in
terms of technology up gradation are discussed below.
The positive aspects of technological changes are-
Facilitates streamlining of repetitive process: The adaptation of new technology
allows the organization to streamline the various processes involved in the operational
process. The repetition of work allows better functioning of work in long course.
Saves overhead cost with the remote jobs: The adaptation of technology has allowed
the organizations to adapt to the changes that can save the cost of operations in the
organizations. The technology has allowed organizations to allot remote jobs that help
in saving costs (Studen and Tiberius, 2020).
Better employee productivity and satisfaction: The better adaptation to technology
allows the employees to perform in a better way and showcase skills that lead to
better productivity at work place. The better productivity allows better satisfaction to
the customers and the organizations.
Enhances customer service: The adaptation to technology allows the organizations to
treat with the customers in a more compatible manner. The technology has allowed
better interaction and better ways to connect organization with the customers.
Provides opportunity to collaborate with talents: The adaptability to new technology
allows the organization to facilitate remote jobs that help the organization to connect
with the talent of remote sources (Vieira and et.al., 2020).

discontinue with their legacy and adopt to the changes that may vanish the existence

rising threats of the data and application security. There is a threat to the organization
of data leaking and hacking of the software. These threats are a bane for the
organization and technology (Yahia, Al-Neama and Kerbache, 2018).
Issues with productivity: The employees and individuals are used to their old methods
of working at the work place. Once they are told to shift or change themselves may
impact the productivity of the organization as whole.
Lacks centralized notification: The adaptation of technology can lead to burdening of
notification upon the system. The burdening upon the system can have individuals to
neglect the adaptation of the technology.
CONCLUSION
It can be concluded that it is very important for the organizations to adapt to the latest
trends in the technology. The adaptation of new technology allows the organizations to have
a competitive advantage. The adaptation of new technology can be in form of e commerce
and social media platforms too. E commerce and social media platforms have revolutionized
the operations of an organization. The e commerce platform has resulted in giving a wider
reach to various businesses whereas social media platforms have also allowed more exposure
of the organization and the trends. The social media platforms have enhanced the
communication between the customers and the organizations. This has led to easier access of
the needs, wants and demands of the customer which can arise various opportunities for the
organizations to increase their revenue and incur better profits. The adaptation of new
technology can have various reactions from different organizations. The adaptation of
technology in organization is dependent upon the individuals of the organization. If the
employees of the organizations are adaptable and flexible to the changes that occur then the
organizations have positive reactions towards the changes. In order to cope with the
competition in the market it is essential to adapt to the technological changes.
