INTRODUCTION
Technology is the sum of the techniques, ability and processes used in the organisations or
attaining a objective. The role and effect of technology in both personal and working lives is
growing. It includes values, facts, practical craft and theoretical knowledge. Technology provides
creative ways of doing work through smart ways. It had bring a revolutionary changes in many
operations(Singh, 2021). It helps in improving the production level of an individual person. As
technology is changing rapidly, like previously the people were using a land line or post offices
to communicate but now a technology come up with the mobile phones or many more mode of
communication because of these new technology the use of land lines reduce now people are
wholly depends on the mobile networks. The report will the positive and negative impact of
adapting technology.
MAIN BODY
The speed at which technology is growing faster. The industries need to be aware of the
automation and new advancements that make their business more active and professional. The
positive and negative impact of technology are describe below(Pestereva, Pavlova and
Zakharova, 2018).
Positive impacts -
Adapting new technology gives the successful growth to the business in various ways. The
various point which will explain that how it positive effect on organisation listed below .
 Improving business strategy - Technology plays an vital role in upgrading the
business value on the media, web, and other sources that are created by technology.
Different institutions spread their branches across the world and connect with them only
with the help of technology(Golden, 2019). The company finds a employees with high
skills and capabilities through technology. A good communication is a key to a
successful business.
 Expanding area of promotion- Technology adds the different or varied techniques of
promoting business whether its a small or medium business. These business generate
large profit by adapting the new methods of promoting business. It assist in earning a
profit and increasing the level of production. The most famous factor affecting the

business are the digital media or websites of brand. This help business in expanding the
business internationally(Aguirre, Chaves and Burban, 2019).
 Accuracy – technology makes the things totally computerise, previously the data and
accounting were recorded in papers or books but now these are recorded in the system or
software. So there is no chance of misconception or the mistakes(Park, 2017). The
individual can trust on the calculation of computer system.
 Upgrading a business value – technology helps in expanding the business in across
country or develop the operation of the business. It gives a smart technique of workings.
And the system of conducting a business activity. It assist in accomplishing a company
objectives systematically and according the plans were built. It aim to earn a
profitability.
Negative impact -
As the things have both aspects so the technology have negative effects too these effects are
listed below(Bilal, and Lee, 2019).
 Privacy issues - As technology has given a software to keep secure the data and records
of the company on their software or personal computers. keeping the data in the devices
like laptop, personal computer, USB drives, office PC's etc. these keep the data secure but
sometimes the competitors of the company stole the data through these devices or by
hacking the company systems to misuse the data of the brand to reduce the goodwill of
company and convey the mis fraud in the eye of public(Cook and Sexton,2018).
Business can fall victim to unscrupulous individuals who hack into their systems and
steal precious data or records.
 Job losses due to automation - as the automations and technology are made
scientifically and they have ability of doing task repeatedly by them. Its right that
machines are managed by the manpower but it also right that it replaces the often labour.
It shows that the manpower typically required a practice and training regarding the
technology and machines.
 Increase in cost – the adapting of technology is not so hard job but the cost is too
expensive to adapt because it cost too much for using them in organisation it effect the
budget of company. It increase the cost in sense of maintaining and installing or
servicing of the machine. These all required a time to time services.

 Lack of personal interaction- the technology tends to reduction in the lack of the
communication of clients and the business personally meeting are getting less since the
mobile and messaging apps are being launched. The business and clients interact through
the messaging apps and through social media sites. Its important for company to
communicate the client with being familer and proffessional both(Smyser, 2019).
Reflection :
I m thankful that get a chance of learning this model. I grateful that got guidance in the under of
the best teachers and in good team. I have learned a new things from the assessment like how to
research and how to analyse the research report. I feel confident after completion of then model.
I have weakness of communicating in front of audience. While working on assessment my
parents and friends were very helpful I got a practical knowledge. I have worked on personal
skills too. I feel shy in working in team in sharing a view or giving ideas in team. When I started
a model I was assigned under a team which is consist of 10 members who were very helpful and
good in nature, the training was for 3 months inn starting I was not comfortable and feeling
nervous working with them. But after some days the trainer started assigning a group activity and
activity so that the team mates can interact each other. I have worked on my leadership skills
with the help of projects and short term tasks. At the time of studying model I got new friends
with whom I accomplish the assessment. The institution was very good and they uses the things
which are belongs to the new technology and they also teach us to how the things work in current
era. I have learn about the new gadgets like android mobiles, laptops, tabs etc. emotional
intelligence helps one to manage the anger, fear and sadness that comes with the feelings of
losing a loved ones all these were the factor that I have a fear and I personally want to work on
that. The training and model will be useful for me future at personal and professional level as it
help me in understanding a technology or gadgets quickly or adapt it fast . It will be useful for
me to understand the topic of researching and how to do research on that topic. It taught me that
where what should be used. Sometimes I get disappointed by my performance because of my
fear and weakness. That time I feel regret that why I didn't perform that time as I know
everything just because of bad communication skills. All I know that after accomplishment of the
assessment I got a knowledge in bulk regarding the technology and gadgets. All the learning will
be useful in future and upcoming life. The learning I got will be useable in workplace.
