INTRODUCTION
Adapting new technology refers to the process of utilisation of new technology in the
business for effective running and operating of business operations and activities. Along with
this, technology adoption is a team which indicates the acceptance, integration and utilisation of
new technology in business. The use of new technology in business creates positive as well as
unfavourable impact over the business of enterprises (Mayes, 2018). The written report will
consider information about the issues which face by the organisation cause of adaptation of new
technology and how they are reacting positively and negatively as well as suggestions to solve
the issue. Moreover, it will consider information about reflection that how the learning will
support studies and business development plans as well as importance of learning. Further, it will
define personal development plan that focus on the academic skills.

In current era and this technical world, there are diverse technology take place and also
adopt by business to make development in their business as well as effective running of
organization in developed manner. The adaptation of new technology not only assists the venture
in operating in effective manner but also generate issues for it. The description of some issues
that are faced by businesses regarding utilisation of new technology, as below:
Employee accessibility- While there are several technology options accessible to easy
operations, the main challenge stays in how user-friendly the techniques prove to be. Most of the
businesses choose for technologies that are customer centred, ignoring the pain or stress the
workers go thorough in using those technologies. It is the key issue which affect the business as
without providing training to workers regarding utilisation of new technology, people are
perform well which affect the productivity of establishment (De Groote and Verboven, 2019).
Regarding this issue, some business is not reacting positively as they highly focus on offering
services and earning profits. But well reputed enterprise, favourably react as they concentrate on
retaining their loyal consumers and efficiency of business enterprise.
Not implement the right systems and procedures- New technology must be integrated into
current business procedures to use its full potential. Purchasing the new technology is enough but
after buying and using, organisation’s systems and processes require to be adjusted to

incorporate the new technology in a form that limits interruption and the demand of additional
training whereas still taking benefit of all the new technology has to provide.
Failing to win staff over to the new technology- It is another main issue which affect the
business of organisations. In an establishment, there are some people who love learning that how
to utilise new technology (Scott Kruse and et. al., 2018). But some people are happy to work
with existing technologies as they are familiar with it and able to do their work in easier and
effective manner. Along with this, the venture wants to adopt new technology for development
of business. For the new technology to be successful, the management will require to win over
their staff to its use. Idyllically, the business firm can make them see its advantages and get them
stimulated about those benefits. But even if they are not enthusiastic each in the form that they
expect to utilise the tech demands to do so.
Compatibility with vendors and partners- Now these days, small and large businesses have an
ecosystem of partners and vendors which enable them serve consumer needs timely. These
partners could be form multiple streams and verticals such as logistics, operational assistance,
raw material or resource supply, warehousing, security and many more. When adopting a new
technology platform, there are chances of the system not being interoperable with their
technology ecosystem. It will direct to the new platform requiring manual arrangements or
effectiveness every time it requires interact with an exterior system from a partner or vendor. It
may also need to custom build new modules to integrate partner technology systems for
automating the whole value chain in the long run. It will lead the higher costs that may become a
high restriction for business ventures.
Regarding the above mentioned issues business organisations reacting positively and
negatively. For example, during the time of adopting technologies establishment adopt
technologies in term of growing and developing business but not implement right system and
procedures so that workforce can execute their duties and task in effective manner by with the
help of new technologies (Martinsuo and Luomaranta, 2018). Along with this, sometimes, they
are also not offer effective training to employees regarding use of new technology case of which
they are fail to win staff over to the new technology which affect the productivity of venture.
In term of getting over and resolving these technologies related issues, there are several
recommendations which can be suggested to business enterprise regarding use of new
technology. One of the key solutions is that before using or adopting new technology, the

management of organisations must provide training and organise training programs to employees
so that they are well aware with the technology and the using procedure etc. Along with this, the
administration can implement and use effective systems and procedures so that the task and work
which is assigned by the establishment in more effective manner (Takagi, Purnomo and Kim,
2020). By offering effective information and the benefits of use or adopt new technology the
management can easily ready to workers with the help of innovative technology by providing
them information about an effective experience and knowledge.

From above defined information I have learnt several things as well as gain knowledge
about technology adoption and the issues which faced by using new technology in the business.
Along with this, I also make development in my knowledge regarding business because when I
write the above information regarding business organisations which use new technology in their
firm regarding operating business activities and operations. In addition this, I also gain
knowledge about the issues which face by venture during adaptation of innovative and new
technology. There are diverse issues like employees’ engagement, use effective systems and
processes that are essential and required to use of new technology etc. are affect the venture. The
learning of about different areas of business and related aspects is crucial for me because it will
assist me in enhancing my knowledge which enable in making my personal as well as
professional development. Learning is crucial and the importance of learning for me is that it
assists me to obtain the required abilities by learning and knowledge so that I can accomplish my
set aims. One of the crucial facts regarding learning is that it is a means to develop knowledge
and gain abilities that will assist me in reaching particular objectives and goals. On the other
way, the importance of learning is that it is one of the sure forms to personal development. It
opens several ways for me that can lead to personal and professional development. Along with
this, it offers a path way that can assist me to be better at what i am doing so that it can lead to
professional development.
With the help of new knowledge, I can learn about new skills like time management,
communication skills, management skills and many more. In addition to this, I also get
knowledge about business and the issues which affect them and how the management of a

venture can overcome and resolve them in more developed manner. Basically, learning is a tool
which can effectively offer knowledgeable experience to me that addresses particular issues in
the life. It motivates me to reach out and grasp visual growth options and open new doors to me
that assist in gaining the required confidence to move forward by this pathway. It keeps me
encouraged and self reliance with the assistance of which I can do and complete my work in
more amended manner. The learning is crucial for me as it will assist me in enhancing my skills
and knowledge which assist me in performing project and report. Along with this, it will also
assist me in my future work when I will work regarding project report like exiting then I will
completed my work and perform in well developed manner. In addition to this, the learning will
also enable me in providing an effective support in my development plan which I will make
regarding my personal and professional improvement as well as my work improvement. The
learning will not only make development in personality but also enhance my academic and other
skills.

It is an activity of writing a short clear plan that sketches out a individual’s plan probably for a
year in context of assess, to improve abilities which need development and the assessment
progress in line with set objectives (Khairat and et. al., 2018). For PDP to be adequate, it must
meet personal development cycle which state the motive for development, execute personal
abilities audit to find out the areas that require development, frame action plan which cover the
required abilities, record and determine all the actions considers and review and measure the
success in line with set and targeted aims and objectives.
