Education is an institution which impart knowledge, skills, values and beliefs to the
individual which will enhance their thinking capability and develop problem solving skills. It
builds confidence and personality of an individual to achieve their goals and heights in life.
Education is a key for our economy to evolve creative thinkers and mind which will help meet
challenges in the globalized world (Tarman, 2016).
This study highlights how technology has transformed education system in a better way
by developing more creative minds and keeping individuals engaged and exited which help them
build new and unique ideas. It also highlights the relationship of such technological creativity on
education system.
The study also includes the benefit of implementing modern technology like social media
platforms, e-learning, distance learning programs, digital textbooks, flipped learning, virtual
reality in classroom, artificial intelligence, gamified learning, videoconferencing technology in
economy and the barriers to such creativity on education system and measures to overcome such
barriers.

Education means imparting knowledge, values, skills and beliefs which will help
individual grasp and learn new things and build problem solving skills. Education is a process
through which individual will develop different perspective and opinion toward various things.
Education help individual grow one's thinking capability, confidence and personality. Individual
develops a sense of positive attitude and set goals to achieve success in life.
Technology plays a very important part in structuring and developing education system
by improving teaching and learning capability of economy(Bergek and et.al., 2015). Technology
helps build creative and innovative thinkers. There is a vast change in technology where range of
educators like teachers, professors, experts, tutors can upload videos on social media platforms
like YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, twitter to impart knowledge on the larger scale all over the
world. The biggest advantage of social media platform is to build a platform where professors
and individuals can connect and communicate with each other effectively and efficiently.

website. Learning management system or E-learning system has a benefit of sharing various

Furthermore, improvement in technology has changed the traditional system of education
which was more expensive and time consuming. Transformation in education system has
brought vast change in the economy where individual can opt for distance learning programmes.

impart knowledge on larger scale at its own pace and time. The way of imparting knowledge has

There are so many factors that create issues or difficulty for the educational institutes to
adopt technological creativity. Apart from this most of thing help the system in adopting such
kinds of innovative practices in business. One of the major factor that is drawback of using
internet and other social sites. Young people use these sites for passing their time more than
getting some useful information. Transformation and reforms in education system by
implementing modern technologies have various benefit but on the other hand it has also
impacted the way our education system work. Increase in use of technology like computer,
laptops, tablets, smartphones, mobiles, artificial intelligence, augmented technology, use of

virtual reality, videoconferencing and flipped learning in classroom have adversely affected the
education system. Excessive use of technology hinders the performance of individuals as it
distracts students to focus on core activity and diverts their mind on unnecessary things which
decreases their productivity and lowers their thinking capability.
Another major factor that hinders implementation of technological creativity in educational
system is lack of skills of educators and teachers. A consequence of implementing new
technology is that there are thousands of teachers and professors who do not know how to use
these technologies. It is important for educators to train themselves to understand and use this
technology so that it can be effectively implemented(Navimipour and Soltani, 2016). This is very
time consuming process and there are educators who still want to stick to the old method of
teaching which will decrease the productivity and lower the capability of creative thinking and
will not be able to cope up with rapid change in globalization which will automatically affect
economy.
Furthermore, adapting to new technology has increased the risk of cyberbullying trap and
access to inappropriate content which hampers their privacy and makes them feel more
distressed. Such reform in education technology hampers the basic skill of individual as they
completely rely on technology and can be easily used as a base for cheating which will hamper
the creativity of an individual. That is the reason that most of the Universities are still not using
such technologies to give education to their students.
Poor interaction with students sometimes give negative results thus, most of the schools
and universities in UK do not prefer to use such technology for proving education to their
students. The biggest disadvantage for the use of technology in education is that educators like
teachers, professor, tutors and experts have been replaced by implementing modern technology
and software which hampers direct face to face communication and also there is no personalized
interaction between the teacher and student which disconnect them from reality and reduces their
learning capability(Wang and et.al., 2016).
Reformation in education technology is also disadvantageous for few students who do not
have effective resources to use these tools for increasing their efficiency. People has also shift
their focus from physical books to digital textbooks which is not accessible on all devices and
can be easily be hacked and cause lot of eye strain. Increase in technology builds a sense of
disconnection as people get more attached and used to technology which disconnects them from

social life which builds social anxieties and conflicts at the time of personal interaction. People
lack confidence and avoid face to face interaction which hinders their social life and
opportunities to grow.
Apart from this, there are so many factors that help the system in implementing
technological changes. One of the major components is interest of learners. Now a days most of
the students have good knowledge of internet an uses of advance technologies. Thus, this interest
has helped education system in applying these methods for offering high class education to the
students(Williams and et.al., 2017). Furthermore, technology has connected various countries,
now people need not to go out of station for their further studies. Thus, people are encouraging
use of technology in education system so that they can get advance knowledge through these
sites and distanced courses.
Implementation of education technology is very complex as not every individual can
resist to this change. This diminishes value of personalized experience of knowledge and inters
personal interaction which helps them build new ideas and learning.
Barriers to recognition of creativity
Adaption to technology in education system is time consuming as it takes time to
understand and use this technology effectively. Lack of time is a barrier to efficiently implement
education technology in education system which hampers productivity. Standardized testing of
technology every year is a time consuming process which will eliminate opportunities to success
and hamper learning process. Assessment and testing learning skills of students is very time
consuming. There is a lack of time to plan and integrate practical strategies according to the
curriculum.
Lack of professional development is barrier for implementing modern educational
technology(Selwyn, 2016). Reformation and transformation in technology creativity is a barrier
for educators who do not have adequate skills and knowledge to implement such technology and
will not be able to use the tools in classroom which will affect the productivity and creativity of
learning. There are educators who cannot resist change and want to follow old traditional
methods of learning which is not relevant and effective in this changing global environment
where there is a need of creative mind and thinkers who can effectively bring change in economy
by implementing new unique ideas.

might not work effectively and lack of technical support and integration is also a barrier to
recognition of creativity. Educators like teacher and professor are unsure of how to use
technology according to the particular curriculum of school which hampers students to

Lack of resources like expertise and support team for training and development,
accessibility to new technology and maintenance and repair cost associated with technology is
another barrier to implement educational technology in education system. It increases cost of
maintenance and lack of training to effectively integrate technology in classroom.
There are many students who do not have access to technology like computer, laptop,
tablets, smartphones, mobiles, hardware, software and internet which hamper their productivity
in learning and also affect them to grasp new opportunities which they could achieve by building
new skills(Sultan, 2015).
Implementing new technology in education for recognition of creativity lacks
personalized learning where students are more into e-learning and lacks face to face interaction
between educator and individuals. This barrier disconnect learners from reality and reduces their
learning capability and confidence which adversely affect them to achieve success and also
increases social anxiety among individuals when it comes to personal interaction.
Strategy to overcome barriers
There are so many barriers that create issue for the educational institutes in order to
implement technological creativity. It is very important to find proper solutions through which
authorities can deal with these barriers and can resolve it properly.
One of the major barriers in system is lack of support and resources. In order over come
this problems government needs to provide support to educational system. They have to make it
compulsory to use advance technologies in classrooms. So that students those who are unable to
join classes can get knowledge and can complete their education from distance as well.
Authorities have to provide financial support to the education system so that universities and
schools have adequate budget for this innovation. This is the best way through which issues can
be resolved and educational business will be able to meet their target.
Authorities need to conduct training session for educator so that they can understand the
way of handling these technologies. If teachers are getting sufficient training for the same then

their eye and people will not get distracted any more. If teachers use proper language and make
them connect with real videos then this will help in increasing their focus and students will take
more interest in getting knowledge through these technologies. For example, if someone is
completing any course through distance learning with the help of E-learning programs. Then
educator has to upload some attractive pictures and presentations that may help in raising interest
of learner. This will boost their energy and people will gain high knowledge through this
application. Furthermore, educational institutes have to organise online tests for the students
those who are completing their education through technology. This will help in analysing their
skills and measuring their learning capabilities. This will help learners as well in taking
necessary actions to improve their marks.
