In today`s digital era, technological advancement had chanced face of education in the
modern world. The proper use of technology in the field of education has helped in opening
more opportunity in the field of education for the students. The advancement of the
technology in the field of education has helped not only the students but also the teacher.
Through various technological advancement in the field of education, the teachers could now
incorporate them in his or her teaching methodology and make the lesson more interesting
and innovative. Through the improvement of technology in the field of education, the student
too more educational material online with the help of internet. Technological advancement in
the education field has removed all kinds of boundary as both.
As per the authors Katherine McKnight, Kimberly O'Malley, Roxanne Ruzic, Maria
Kelly Horsley, John J. Franey & Katherine Bassett as mentioned in the research paper
“Teaching in a Digital Age: How Educators Use Technology to Improve Student Learning”,
the true transformation of the old classroom with blackboards into a fully digitized
classrooms with smart boards is not truly determine by the technological advancement. It is
actually demined by how those technologies are use in improving overall teaching and
learning experience. According to the authors, advancement in the technology in Education
has helped in some of major areas. Those are access, improvement and feedback,
restructuring of teacher’s time, shift in student and teacher dynamics. As mentioned earlier,

classrooms. Nowadays there is What`s App instant messaging services. Nowadays due to
technological advancements, study material like word file, PowerPoint presentation are being
send to the students online in the email by the teacher. Because of technological

advancement, there is a shift in the student teacher dynamics. Not only the student, but the
teacher too needs to upgrade their knowledge about the subject because a student nowadays
has access to lots of information. Moreover, they will ask question when in doubt (McKnight
et al., 2019).

technology (ICT) had a huge positive impact in the education sector. As mentioned earlier, of
information and communication technology (ICT) helps in smart research and as result,
students are able to get all the required information more easily and effectively in the internet.

the students with all the e books and online journals. Students nowadays need to go through
the burden of flipping the pages of the fat books. They can open their e book in their smart
device as and when required at their own convenience.In addition, Information and
