RESEARCH METHODS
Research methods allow researchers in conducting their research in several ways and
procedures which provides distinct results and better acquisition of information.
There are several methods which could be used for research, that are mentioned below: Primary Research: This is a method in which the information gathered by a researcher
comes from primary sources, which means the data collected by the researcher is
collected for the first time (Righi, Saurin and Wachs, 2015). There are several methods
which could be used by the researcher to perform this type of research. These methods
are described below:
Interviews: In this method, the researcher indulges in a face-to-face conversation
with certain respondents through which, detailed, subjective and descriptive
information is provided.
Questionnaires: It refers to a research instrument that includes several questions
in relation to the research topic. It allows to set up an effective base for analysis
by the objective questions present within the instrument. Secondary Research: In this method, researcher acquires information that has already
been found for a specific purpose earlier. It includes materials and sources which are
published in previous reports or other relevant documents. Certain methods associated
with this research are described as under:
Internet: The prime source of all secondary information is internet. In today's era
of digitalisation, researchers tend to upload their research on different websites
that are accessible to other individuals who seek information on similar topics.
Libraries: Another appropriate source of information is public libraries, which are
full of resources and previous research materials about a number of subjects. Qualitative Research: This method refers to an interpretive approach to analyse data
which are not presented in numerical terms. Unstructured interviews, cultural records,

etc. could be used by the researcher to acquire qualitative data. Moreover, thematic
analysis is the type used for assessing qualitative information.
Quantitative Research: In this technique, the research acquires data and information that
could be presented in numerical terms. Data acquired by this method could be
appropriately measured and compared due to their quantifiable nature. Statistical data or
numeric projections could be used as information in this method.
Out of all the methods presented below, secondary research is the method which would
be used to accomplish the aim of this research. Moreover, in order to analyse the same,
qualitative method and thematic analysis would be utilised by the researcher (Quinlan and et. al.,
2019).
PROJECT PLAN, BUDGET AND TIMELINE
Project Plan
In order to effectively carry out the research project, it is essential to structure a project
plan which is inclusive of several things mentioned below: Scope: As far a scope is concerned, the research carried out would be directed at the
company websites, past manager records, company's annual report, employee feedbacks
and review, etc. All these sources would be approached in order to acquire the desired
information related to the research aim.
Communication: In order to acquire secondary information, the managers and other
employees of the company would be contacted through social media and letters, in order
to gather crucial information associated with the research.

ISSUES TO BE CONSIDERED
There are certain issues that are necessary to be considered in order to identify the risks
associated with these factors as well as in order to overcome the same in order to perform an
effective and smooth research. These issues are mentioned below: Validity of Data: One issue is related to the validity of data. With secondary research, it
is highly likely that the information which is gathered is either irrelevant or unreliable
(Drake, Rancilio and Stafford, 2017).
Confidentiality of Information: In order to conduct the research effectively, internal
company sources would be required in order to analyse authentic and appropriate
information available with the company. However, there are chances that several
information would not be disclosed to outsider, which is quite a risk associated with this
research.
