Abstract
The current research work is based on determination of role of technology and its impact
on organisational productivity. In this project to get better understanding about the above topic a
quantitative research and investigation is conducted on Cosmo World Buffet Restaurant to get
better understanding about the impact of technology on its productivity. Further, the current
research work also focuses on issues that are faced by an organisation while implementing a new
technology at its workplace for which data collected through questionnaire to fulfil and meet
objective of current research work.

business operations through brining new and better idea for performing a task thus, plays a
crucial role in enhancing productivity of an organisation (Duke and Montag, 2017). With
increase in the level of competition together with changing market trends and dynamic behaviour
of customers the role and impact of technology is also enhancing for organisation as it facilitates
a framework to establish better customers relation through offering better quality services and
meeting their expectation. The Cosmo World Buffet Restaurant is a famous restaurant situated at
London, UK that consists of live cooking stations where customers can order and have a food
which is freshly cooked. Thus, to maintain the coordination and proper management of supply
and demand of food products effective implication of technology has become crucial for this
restaurant to maintain its productivity and sales level. Thus, the current research work is focused
on determining role of technology and its impact on organisational productivity based on
investigation of Cosmo World Buffet Restaurant.

The main aim of conducting this research work on Cosmo World Buffet Restaurant is, “To
determine role of technology and its impact on organisational productivity.”

manner while Inductive approach will focus only to generating the new theory and mixture of
data information which will not suitable for the research (McArthur and McCord, 2017).

objectives of any research. There are two amin types of research method which are described
below :
Qualitative method: By using of this method of research te researcher are more focusing
to scrutinizing the depth knowledge and detailed knowledge as well as analyzation of behavior of
respondent is collected for the purpose of research (Fusi and Feeney, 2018).
Quantitative Method: By using of this research method the researcher are more
considering the analyzation and evaluation of data in numeric and arithmetic framework on
which it reflect the point of review of participants and not interested to provides the depth
knowledge (Pheng and Meng, 2018).

As for this research there is use of Quantitative research method is selected as it provides
the numeric or statistical representation of data for the research where it also facilitates the facts
and figure of research data information while qualitative research method is only provides the
detailed knowledge about the research where it is not required for this research.
Sources of data collection
It basically represent the data invention form where it actually collected or gathered
(Antonioli and Pini, 2017). The main sources of data collection are follows:
Primary Sources: The data collected from this sources provides the first hand data by
which researcher is investigating the data information through the interviews, surveys ,
questionnaires and feedbacks etc.
Secondary sources: the data is collected is the mobility through the data investigation
and evaluation through other existence data document where it collected from other’s research as
in articles, books, internet or newspaper through past records (Chrisman, Devarajand Patel,
2017).
As for this particular research there is used of both primary and secondary sources of data
collection where primary is helps to collects the data for the framing of questionnaires as
secondary source is prevails the information required for questionnaire findings from other
research document.

Instrument Used: Use of questionnaire is made for data collection which is basically a
written document consists a range of questions associated with a particular topic and offer the
simplest and easiest way to collect primary data from respondents. As for this research the used
of instrument of making the objective attaining through the questionnaires for collects the data
information topic of research (Chadburn, Smith and Milan, 2017). The questionnaire that is
used for collection of data for current research work is attached and provided below at the end
of this research project in Appendix A.
Sampling Method: It is method of selecting a set number of respondents from a large
population (Fusi and Feeney, 2018). Use of probability sampling is made for current research
work in order to reduce the chances of biasness. For the sample size in this research is to
predicting the 40 respondent from the workforce or employees of Cosmo World Buffet
Restaurant.

To ensure compliance with all ethical implications related with a research work all the
code of conducts and research principles are complied while performing this investigation. A
written consent and approval is also taken from all participants before there involvement in
research work to ensure that no one is emotionally or physically hurt with current research work.
Beside this, proper care of security of collected data is also taken to ensure compliance with data
security act to fulfill all ethical considerations.
