1) What are the long-term effects of living in a technological world? Are these mostly
negative or positive?
Technology plays one of the essential roles in each and everything that has been happening
throughout the world. Individual are residing in the current world experiencing a far more
advanced and high tech life as compared to those who lived in the previous years (Cosgrave,
Kate and Tryfonas). Technology has provided some of the most excellent chances to the lives of
the people making things more accessible and manageable. There lie both the positive and the
negative impacts of the long term residing in the technological world. The positive effects of the
residing in the technology infused world are the ease of the skills and communication ways. This
consists of the e-mail, SMS, voice and the video calls which are all effective mediums of the
conversation that have brought the world closer at the global level (Dutta, Geiger and Lanvin).
Besides this, positive factors include the comfort related to the technology that has made the
individual living in this era face much ease in doing any of the activities be it shopping, or
booking any of the cabs. One of the essential positive contributions of the technological world is
the improved educational system and the facilities. The modern-day technology has made it
easier for the students in the current generation towards gaining knowledge through the means of
the virtual and the online classes (Carley, Michael and Spapens). It has been a privilege for the
students to study at their own pace from anywhere as per their convenience. Further positive
factors include the changing pattern in the system of the health sector. The innovations in the
technology have revolutionized the industry of health care with various of the modern
equipment's that had resulted in making faster and more accurate treatment reading the possible
patients.

Some of the negative effects of the technological world include factors such as too much
dependency on technology and technical equipment (Dutta, Thierry and Lanvin). The depletion
of natural and new resources due to the power of modern and technological gadgets are affecting
humanity. Furthermore, the increased level of the competencies targeting the increased
dependency over the contemporary tools that provide some of the instant solutions regarding
creativity and intelligence are the adverse effects.
To summarize, though there are both negative and positive imapsts ofresiding in the
technology infused world, the positive effects are greater and are beneficial for the long run.
According to Hanson (2016) even before 50 years, nobody imagined the progress rate of the
human. Some of the positive impacts of residing in technological world includes:

has been a tectonic alteration in the minds of the people living in the worldwide. More than 89%
of the population of the world are the regular user of the smart phones, social media and internet.
Social media and its components have been one of the powerful and influential together with the
effective mean of the communication. It has played one of the most significant roles in the
bridging of the gaps among the various individuals thereby the establishment of a robust
connection (Majchrzak, Ann, et al.). Social media has made the world smaller. According to
Fuchs (2017) 79.35% of the business through out the globe uses the internet and the social media
for the marketing of their business. Social media has transformed the world as a whole to a
global town. The factors of social media including sms, use of cell phones and the internet has
made the entire globe a small place. It has managed to develop and convert the entire world in a
global town. The following factors possess the primary concern regarding influencing social
media to transform the world as a whole in a small place. These include the more extensive
audience base (Hiebert and Gibbons). The platform of social media helps in the connection and
interaction with the people throughout the world. People can connect to their friends and their
loved ones irrespective of their location without making a hole in the pocket.
Furthermore, the cell phones, social media and the internet help in the building of a
network of people with similar interest. This activity additionally encourages the discussion of
the ideas, the questions and learning or gaining of knowledge from the likeminded people. The
social media furthermore helps in keeping and maintain the family to remain connected (Hudson,

initiates in the changes in the education and the teaching is the use of the LCD screens,
projectors dumping the conventional methods of the learning. Furthermore, access to the quality
education anywhere and everywhere in the world together with the digitalization of the
knowledge has enabled anyone to learn anything from any place irrespective of any of the
barriers and the boundaries.
Furthermore, education gets personalized, and the students throughout the world can earn
various concepts based on their choices and their level of proficiency level. Students across the
