small tool which is portable and light weighted and nowadays it’s even slimmer making it easier
for human beings to carry it with them anywhere and at any time. Business strategies and
working environment have evolved immensely over the past years which is made possible by the
swift integration of various technological tools which have automated the tasks and made the
business processes simpler and more efficient. Mobile technology has been the most essential
trend that have taken the business world id8 and have been rapidly penetrated (Maudsley and et.
al., 2019). The upward shift towards the usage of mobile phones in the work environment have
transform the economic landscape also over the past years. mobile communication and
connectivity have been evolving changing and becoming more efficient day by day making the
business communication more easy and more productive as plans can be created over the mobile
phones institution of messages. Developments in mobile and other technological devices have
generated improvement in several different business domains and have made the work much
more easier and less time consuming. Mobile phones and technological devices have provided
the organisations and opportunity to complete the work and other business activities in no time
and in the most productive way. Earlier in business communication is considered a long and a
very time consuming process mainly when it is being conducted outside the business (Chafii,
Bader and Palicot, 2018). Nowadays business communication have taken and upside turn and the
messages which took months to reach to the receiver have now been delivered to them in just
one second by just few clicks without even taking a single step. This is a revolution which have
been brought by mobile phones and other digital technologies in the working and operations of
an individual organisation and in the lives of human beings along with the way they work. As
known that every coin has two sides of it one is positive and the second is negative, therefore
positivity and benefits which abroad by technologies and mobile devices in the ways people
work are beneficial to them but there are other negative aspects also which are related to it. As
we were discussing about impacts of mobile devices and other technological tools on the way we
work it has brought both the better and the worst for the people and for the organisations (Ghosh
and et. al., 2018). The most interesting and the negative impact which is faced by human beings
for individuals while they are working either on their own or in an organisation is the
misbalances created in their personal and professional life. Mobile phones and digital

people have been effective and being affected in a very negative and the worst way because now
they have the ability of working anytime from anywhere which is causing a whole lot of
problems in their personal lives. Now employees are being forced to work for long hours in their
offices and if that is not possible they are being forced to work at their homes on there laptops
and there mobile phones (Sunstein, 2018). When there were no technology for just a limited
technology was present the individuals used to go to their offices work in their working hours
and then return to their homes to live their personal lines with their families friends and other
related people. What is the situation have been entirely changed because employees are forced to
work from home or to work when it is required by the organisation and the orders are being
given for work by the managers and the higher authorities. The employees have felt a lot of
disturbance and faces a lot of problems in their personal life due to the increased level of work in
their workplace and even at their homes. The unbalanced work-life is the biggest and the worst
outcome of evolution and enhanced use of technologies either mobile phones or laptops for other
software or hardware instrument.
Issues about work/life balance.
The employees are human beings who needs to manage their professional and personal lives in
order to work and run their lines in the best manner. But as discussed that increased use of
mobile phones and other technological devices have implemented the positive and negative
impacts the worst outcome of it is the unbalanced work life. The issue of in balanced work life is
very influential on the a employee or an individual work and also on the organisation as well
because of the end employees work for them and if they are not performing well and their
productivity is hindered therefore the company’s productivity will also be hindered. The biggest
impact of extra working hours and extra workload on employees which day complete by taking
time out of their personal lives is over their performances and their productive level. Employee is
also a human being who have their limits and once these limits are crossed their productivity and
work performance will automatically deteriorate. The increased level of stress and extra
workload will cause high number of absenteeism and staff sickness along with the more
impacting is the increasing number of staff turnover (Bailenson, 2018). If the employees are not
satisfied and they are facing problems they will automatically start reducing their level of
productivity which will initially affects the company and their performance level and then result
in lowering number of staff retention ratio and lowering the level of talent restored in the

organisational structure. Therefore the issue of work life balance will be impacting first on the
individual in the very beginning but once it crosses the limit then it will automatically hinder the
company’s objectives their activity level and ultimately their talent retention numbers.
CONCLUSION
The report concludes and summarises that mobile devices and other technological tools have a
very large and the most potential impact on the ways by which individuals and organisations
work as compared to the earlier situation when these technologies our not. The increased use of
mobile phones and digital technologies have draught better ways of working and connectivity
towards the organisation and to the people but the very impactful and hindering factor is the
