INTRODUCTION
A community group is defined as a specific group that is organised for making
improvements in a community's health, well being and overall operations and functioning
(Trudell, 2017). These organisations generally occur in psychosocially, geographical, spiritually,
digitally or geographically bounded area or community. The following report contains the
discussion on well being of teenage group for preventing pregnancy.
MAIN ESSAY
A community group is established when a number of individuals group together and
sharing similar interests and thoughts. There are several community groups present in the
society. There are some groups which have people from around the world and they are making
efforts for helping society against different illegal activities like usage of drugs, alcoholism, etc.
Some other community group is made which is made for people of similar age and this is made
for solving problems faced by these youngsters (Pugsley, 2018). This helps in releasing stress
and coping up with issues of peer pressure, drugs, study stress, etc. Some other groups are those
which include Scouts and guides who run activities related to fun and the main objective of these
groups is to teach skills and abilities to people for becoming successful leaders. There are some
community groups which are made for helping society to take initiatives towards protecting
environment. There are some other groups also present in society like sporting groups,
community gardens, etc. There are some communities present in society for making teenagers
aware of a common problem of society i.e. teenage pregnancy. These communities help to
educate youngsters for avoiding this issue. Teenage pregnancy is defined as the pregnancy in
women whose age is between 13 – 19. The main objective of the community group is to reduce
and prevent teenagers from becoming early parents. These community groups support and guide
youngsters what is good for them and what they should and should not do to avoid risks in their
life (Hindman and Yan, 2015). This community discusses self regulatory measures that can be
taken to prevent teenage pregnancy. The community groups are made for ensuring well being
and good health of group of people. There are several initiatives that community groups take for
making youngsters aware about teenage pregnancy. These are mentioned below-

Abstinence education program – These programs promote abstinence over all
approaches of the program. An effective abstinence education program have established for
making individuals aware about issue of teenage pregnancy (Gabarron and Wynn, 2016).
Comprehensive sex education program – These programs emphasises on improving
reproductive outcomes of health like prevention of pregnancy and increasing sex education.
Clinic based family planning programs – These programs are organised for individuals
for giving knowledge to them about contraceptive services and treatments. These are specially
implemented in a health clinic (Marques, and. et. al., 2015).
Parent involvement program – This program emphasises on improvement of parent child
relationship and specially on communication regarding romantic relationships and sexual
behaviours (Sun and. et. al., 2016).
Youth development program – These programs focuses on reproductive health of an
individual. This program is made for increasing knowledge about pro-social behaviour.
Sex education is very important for the teenagers. It is treated as a natural phenomenon of the
human body and happens without any knowledge or education with the emotional and
affectionate feeling of people towards one another. In UK, teenagers are getting attracted to one
another and because maximum students have seen their parents getting divorced or facing any
mental or emotional problems and they start consuming drugs and alcohol which leads them
towards the destruction of their physical and mental state of life (Dobson and Ringrose, 2016).
In such condition the risk of unplanned and pre conscious pregnancy is increasing among teen
members. They do not understand that such situations can lead them towards the greatest
problem of life. Normally, the sec education is given to the students after 16 years but due to all
such aspects, it has become highly important that people starts learning about the sexual aspects,
its risks, contraceptives, etc. For this, not only school but parents must concentrate on their
children, provide them with depression and stress free environment. They must share these thing
with their children and explain them the harmful effects of this. This is increasing day by day
because many teenagers are in their early age and do not understand the harmful effects, they are
needed to be learn to say no to anything whenever they feel uncomfortable.
The school must educate student about the condom which is one of the most important
aspect of saving teenagers from getting pregnant (Chu and. et. al., 2015). They must not only be
taught with the benefits of using condom but also the manner how it is to be used. Thus, they

must know that there are various diseases which can cause serious life problems like Aids, HIV,
etc. But if the students will use condom then this can be minimised to some extent.
As far as the importance of sex education is crucial for teenagers, the school must show
them the proportion of increase in unwanted pregnancies, miscarriages, abortion, transfer of
sexually transmitted diseases, etc. They must be taught that one single mistake can destroy their
whole life and future educational career (Campbell, 2017). By providing them with sex
education, they will be able to expose the teenagers with gender identity, family responsibility,
sexual expressions, intimacy, etc. The sex ha different forms, some are with consent while some
are done forcefully. Small children and teenagers of age 12-16 may not be aware of the poor and
dirty intentions of the people. Due to pornography, many individuals cannot control their
emotions and they force people to have sex or even misbehaves and abuse them physically and
mentally which leads to early pregnancies. This must be considered as one of the important
aspect in the part of education because it will help the students in understanding the unethical
and inhuman behaviour of the individuals.
The education curriculum of the school must contain the different types of contraceptives
and their importance of using before having sex. Many teenagers girls lacks this information and
this leads them to give birth to the premature babies or even face the death. The school will
organise various incentive programs for imparting this knowledge to the teenagers which will
make them understand their own importance and worth (Breuner and. et. al., 2016). It is really
crucial to make them believe that random casual sex just for fun can leads to the imp arable
damage to the human body. The school must promote this, by organising film screenings and
visual media by showing them the increasing level of sexually transmitted diseases and other
diseases. They must be covered from real life incidents and in that, the education committee
must focus on the health of teenagers and the condition of their family members which will stop
them from doing anything that can harm their family adversely.
It is also crucial because of the growing need and requirements of personal hygiene where it
is important that individual takes care of themselves (Ringrose and Harvey, 2015). In this, not
only teenagers but parents are also required to be taught that they remain open with their kids so
that neither kids become hesitate nor parents and proper sharing and exchange of ideas will be
there. At this stage it become important that parents became friends and let the children question
about the sexual and health.

By enhancing the learning of sexual education, the teenagers will be able to avoid negative
and harmful health consequences because this will let them know the skills to protect
themselves. It will make them free and they will be able to communicate about the sex life with
their teachers and parents freely. It will help them in postponing the sex until and unless they do
not feel its need (Brayboy and. et. al., 2017). It also manages the healthy and unhealthy
relationships because health relations needs abilities like proper communication, positive
atmosphere, managing conflict, etc. while insufficiency of this relation can leads to unhealthy
and violent relationship. Thus, sex education not only makes the teenager about the puberty
development or changes in the hormones of the human body but it also gives them the freedom
to decide the behaviour they want and say no to unwanted sexual activities. In UK, majority of
the teenage sex is due to the result of forced actions where strict actions must be taken and
people must understand the manner to respect the other body.
CONCLUSION
From the above report it has been concluded that sex education is very important for the
teenagers because of the increasing number of unwanted pregnancies and diseases. By providing
this education, they will know about the right and wrong and will have the freedom to choose
what they want in life. It will give them the education of various contraceptives so that they do
not suffer from harmful disease and concentrates on their future career life.
