Project objectives
The project plan is based on design as well as development of telecommunication project
which is being implemented by small IT Company. The office is consisted 3 rooms which is
accommodated all the servers in addition to telecommunication equipments. The client has
opened a new office in suburb as well as they are required telecommunication link among two of
the offices. The project manager as well as team members can collect technical plus non-
technical needs of the project plan. Following are list of the project objectives such as:
 To determine technical as well as non-technical needs of the telecommunication
implementation project
 To develop new office in suburb, network and system needed for the
implementation of telecommunication project
 To finish the project work in the scheduled time of 8 months as well as estimated
budget of $60,000
 To incorporate of Wi-Max internet access for creating connections between two
of the offices
Project scope
The scope of this project plan is to gather the technical as well as non-technical
requirements of the telecommunication project so that there is preparing of detailed project
design. The customers are running public access to the internet center into the city area. The
space of office which is selected has three offices as well as frontage. Two of the rooms are

accommodated all the servers while one of the room is accommodated telecommunication
devices as well as equipments. The client has opened new office into suburb while there are
required to open the telecommunication linkage among two various offices. In order to design as
well as develop technical infrastructure, it is require to access to Wi-Max facilities for accessing
to internet with microwave connection among two of the offices. The scope is to prepare the
document by the project team and the client can approve the project as reference to detailed
design.
Project problem statement
Due to lack of the operational as well as functional project activities, the company is
required to face risks which are providing effects on successful implementation of the
telecommunication project. The team members those are involved into the project work has
lack of technical skills to complete the work on time, therefore they are required to provide
proper training so that the work is completed on scheduled time.

In order to develop the telecommunication project, there is required to analyze the project
management methods as well as approaches such as:
Agile: This approach is a value centered methods of the project management which can

flexible which can benefit from the process so that the project manager can work in environment
which can treat the project milestones.
Scrum: This method can reveal lengthy processes when the planning is to be taken place
a couple of months before the project manager can move to next design phases. The planning is
required to kick off the project as it is dependent on the agile framework.
PRINCE2: This method is required so that the project is to be completed on scheduled
timeframe and the outputs are being defined as well as there is proper justification of the project
to the project client. The method is to be featured by the projects which are to be delivered on

are defined before the project kick off and each of the project team can aware of their

main office and the branch office are part of the project activity. The technical and non technical
requirements that will help the project team associates to meet the project objectives included in
the project discussion details. In addition to this, the techniques of project funding and reference
technicians are discussed in the project brief.
The stakeholder engagement practices, list of stakeholders their power, interest and
influence are not included in this project. Apart from this, the potential risks and issues are
identified and analyzed for the project but the probable mitigation techniques that may used to
completely resolve and mitigate the possible risk excluded. In addition to this, based on the
project complexity how the project can be properly distributed are not parts of the project
documentation. In other words the project details that are to be followed throughout the project
life cycle period to meet the objectives are excluded in this documentation. How change
management plan can be implemented and also for which activities change management actions
are required are excluded in this discussion.

Budgeting is referred to as an very essential project management tool that is used by the

based on the nature, type and size. The costs are considered for labours, materials and operation.
This project is about development of a telecommunication link between the office branches. Not
only this but also, WI Max facility is also required to be implemented by the end of this project.
It has been determined that the project will be accomplished within an estimated budget of
$60,000
Hardware/ software suggestions
In order to accomplish the telecommunication connection building project in the main
office and branch office different hardware and software are required. It is responsibility of the
project supervisor and team members to accomplish the project activities based on the primary
requirements and objectives. The hardware required for the completion of the project are
computers, router, LAN, WAN, Ethernet, CPU, laptop.

maintain the overall security of the system. It can be said that if all the mentioned security

of the external users will be able to access the information

Constraints
For this particular project triple project constraint has been evaluated in terms of budget,
time and scope. The responsibility of the project supervisor and the team members are to
accomplish the activities professionally to gain commercial profit and economic support as well.
The total budget that has been estimated for the project is $60,000 and the total time which is
determined for the project is 8 months.
Signoff
As soon as a project gets finished it becomes responsibility of the project lead to ensure
that the project outcomes and outputs have meets the primary company and client expectations
and objectives. At the end of the project the lead or supervisor should create a project signoff
document. This is a project acceptance agreement. In this phase the project lead should create a
