Report
AI Summary
This report provides a system analysis of a telehealth system, examining its functional and operational services. It identifies problems such as technical failures, including network issues and potential data loss, and inappropriate diagnosis due to data collection issues. The report also highlights the lack of visibility in the network system. The capabilities of the telehealth system are discussed, emphasizing its ability to provide anytime, anywhere services through various devices, including support for chronic disease management and virtual consultations. The benefits of the telehealth system are detailed for both patients and doctors, including easier appointment scheduling, online payment, and access to specialist doctors. Technical benefits such as time and cost reduction are also highlighted. References to supporting literature are provided.

1SYSTEM ANALYSIS PG
1. Problems associated to telehealth system
After analyzing the functional and operational services of the system it has been defined
that many issues are associated to it those are needed to resolves completely. Set of information
about the patients and even about their financial details are also stored in the online server which
is not properly protected from external assaults. Some problems of telehealth system are as
follows:
Technical failure: It is determined that like other technical malfunctions telehealth is
also facing technical issues eventually. The datagram or information packets those are to be
transmitted from the server side to the receiver side might be lost for undertaking sudden
changes in the network framework. Due to this reason the care needed for the patients would be
compromised (Cancela, Fico & Waldmeyer, 2015). For this kind of technical failure, the video
conferences arranged by the doctors would also be affected. However, through analytical and
comprehensive monitoring the technical issues associated to telehealth system could be
diminished. There are certain serious matrices like peak usage of trend analysis, planning
capabilities and endpoint monitoring are there that has to be undertaken for serving secure
service to telehealth.
Inappropriate diagnosis and assessment: Problems might be found in data collection
approaches and equipment using processes also. For incorrect data storage and information
delivery approaches wrong diagnosis report might be generated for patients and that would lead
both the patients and the physicians in danger (Lee et al., 201). With regular time interval
management and device checking the issues of the performance will be completely minimized.

2SYSTEM ANALYSIS PG
Lack of visibility in the network system: Different issues are there regarding
Information technology and the network operating system (Czaja et al., 2014). The end point
status of video, the quality of the call matrices and the capacity of the network system are to be
resolved by the system operators.
2. Capabilities of telehealth system
Telehealth system is focused to provide anytime, anywhere services to the consumers
However, this must be done with the help of the web browsers, mobile phones, tablets etc.
Different vital services such as chronic disease management, mental health care are also served
by the telehealth consultants. In order to schedule doctor’s appointments, virtual consultation the
on demand services of the telehealth system is available (Sabesan & Kelly, 2015). The telehealth
support system served by the company supports both the patients and doctors as well. In order to
achieve flexible system infrastructures telehealth system gives opportunities to the doctors and
patients.
3. Benefits of telehealth system
Many benefits are associated to the telehealth system. The issues of the existing system
would be completely minimized after the implementation of web browsers and telehealth system.
Both the doctors and the patients are getting benefitted with the help of this particular system.
The benefits of the system are as follows:
Patient’s benefits: In previous days the patients have to go through difficult search
process for searching local doctors (Lindgren et al., 2016). Even the entire processes for taking
appointment to the doctors are also found to be very much difficult. However, through the help

of the current system the patients are allowed to take online appointment for the desired doctors
easily. Due to the online payment process the process of money transfer have also become easy
jobs to the consumers. In addition to this, for some patients it is necessary to consult to the
doctors at a particular interval that also become easier after the development of telehealth system
(Cancela, Fico & Waldmeyer, 2015). Through the online platform the users will be able to
communicate to the doctors whenever needed. The inconvenience of the patients and could be
minimized after the development of telehealth system. Not only the general physician but also
lists of specialist doctors are also available in the telehealth system.
Doctor’s benefit: From the online information centre the doctors would be able to g
through the details of the patients whenever needed (O’Neil et al., 2014). Even, as the health
condition or the health details of the patients are also available in the online server thus, the
doctors will be able to gain the information for further diagnosis much easily. Apart from this, a
group of doctors can also provide treatment to the patients.
Technical benefits: Different technical issues that the healthcare systems were facing
initially are completely minimized after the implementation of the telehealth system for the
patients and doctors as well. The total time and cost needed to serve such system gets also
minimized (Sabesan & Kelly, 2015). Even the cost allotted for duplicate test, ambulance and
doctor prescribing approaches are also diminished and regardless of time and location the system
is able to szerve their services to the patients.
