been involved in ever changing process in order to adapt to the global market
environment. It has been aiming to become a more customer-focused organization.
Presence of many languages due to globalization has led to language barrier in Telstra
while investing and doing business in different countries. Due to lack of common
language, communicating with employees and customers in those different locations
and Telstra branches has become a problem. This has also affected the management
ability to work hence affecting the company’s productivity. (Oliveira, 2013)
Discussing about globalization it is impossible to ignore the technology role. This is
because technology is developing rapidly hence there is need for having millennial
generations in the organizations since they usually have a potential of being great
employees. Therefore, Telstra is struggling to keep pace with technology by balancing
the new and the old generations of employees. Improving the internal communications
through use of internet platforms than the old way of letters and emails in order to
contain the overwhelming employees is one way Telstra can use to combat this
