1. Introduction
Information Technology (IT) could be defined as the use of computer resources for
performing several kinds of tasks within the context of business or any other enterprise. IT forms
the base within the telecommunication industry, such as Telstra. The organization requires a high
support of IT based solutions for their basic operations. The management systems of Telstra also
requires high form of usage of IT systems in order to bring in efficiency within the processes of
work and ease the business operations of the organizations. Careful considerations of several
factors based on IT systems would help in reducing the excessive costs that would be incurred by

beneficial for the organization. They should be focused on increasing the strengths within the
existing network. They should provide 24/7 services to their customers and also ensure that their
customers would get highly benefited with the impact of the IT systems (Wu, Straub & Liang,
2015). They should also ensure the security within the networks and hence protect the
confidentiality of the information of the customers.
