Here is the final report for the integration of smartphone application ‘Telstra’. I am
hereby attaching the final report regarding the integration of the Telstra app with the
information system of our university. After going through a quick survey and research
on this project I myself get to know that the integration of Telstra application will be
profitable for the university as well as the students and faculty members of this
university.
While researching about this project, its benefits and drawback, I founded out that
using a particular application for the purpose of the academic and integrating it with
our information system will give advantage in the academics learning skill to the
students as there are a number of options into Telstra app like written assessments and
notes, video lectures and for self-empowerment, there are mock tests and quiz
available so that the students can develop their selves. I recommend implementing
and integrating this project into the information system of our university.
For this project, I would like to thank my colleagues, the information and technology
department and team, management department and team, software research &
development department and team, hardware research & development department and
team and all the other team and project members that have directly or indirectly

Executive Summary
Better and interactive learning and understanding to the students using a very easy
way are to create an application for the smartphones which contain or covers the
entire necessary component for educational purpose can be a great idea. Telstra is an
application which is developed for the educational purpose. The main idea for
developing this application is that the university website may not be accessible
sometimes and isn’t able to respond regarding the operations. Sometime students may
also go on halt in their learning procedure because of these issues. They can access
their lecture by this app later.
Integration of a smartphone app can be a great advantage for the development of the
industry as well as it will enhance the learning skills of the students by accessing the
video lecture with visualization effect in them. Using the application of Telstra, the
students, getting education into the university to enhance and gain their knowledge
and skills, can learn without hampering or wasting their time finding a computer
system or laptop to view video lectures or give mock tests or solve quizzes. Students
can just use their smartphones for the same purpose.
Telstra app is able to provide access to the students with different courses and also
those students will be able to access their relevant module form their courses and
access weather wrote notes or paper or the video of the lecture rooms. For this several
processes are introduced like the strategic alignment of members, Value proposition
and benefits, project management and control, required infrastructure, required
programming language, development methodology, software testing strategies,
internationalisation and social media integration, risk assessment table, integration
and deployment strategies. User acceptance and change management, Future

Background
Many students of the universities process through their system for the learning and
understanding of their course. Like discussions on the chapter, Module, resources,
academic tests, quiz and many more things go through. Students use the university
website to get to the academic system and learn. Learning can be of any typewritten
notes, a video representation of lecture and many more things but the main aim of a
student should be focusing on their studies using an interface that can lessen down the
efforts of research and get the best knowledge to the students.
To provide better learning and understanding to the students using a very easy way is
to create an application for the smartphones which contain or covers the entire
necessary component for educational purpose. Telstra is an application which is
developed for the educational purpose. The main idea for developing this application
is that the university website may not be accessible sometimes and isn’t able to
respond regarding the operations. Sometime students may also go on halt in their
learning procedure because of these issues. Telstra can help in these circumstances of
this learning procedure for the students. Telstra is able to provide the basic learning
materials on the student’s smartphones from where they can just access the app by
logging into the app using the university provided student-ID and relative password.
Telstra has a setup of courses which depends on the students’ course. Students can
just search out for their course or modules and choose any of the learning programs
which they have missed or want to re-learn. This app provides facility over learning
techniques as it has written lessons as well as videos of the lecture of lecture rooms.
Not just that, students can use this app for their self-development purpose as they can
just go to the quiz or test panel access the model paper or sample paper for testing or
evaluating their gained knowledge regarding any of the particular chapter. Integrating
this application with the university’s learning modules and courses will be helpful for
the students to better access the lessons from anywhere an also save them for instant
access and re-learning through e-learning.

Proposed solution
This project is going to deal with the problem of the students for not being able to
access the learning material from the official website of the university due to any
problem like website accessing in a smartphones means complex interface, internet
issues and many more also skipped lectures and lessons. Students of the university
have been surveyed to get to this problem and managed to come to a point or
resolution that can be provided to the students so that the problem can be an
opportunity of doing something new.
In universities, students go through lectures to gain and increase their knowledge, but
sometimes, due to any reason, some of the students become unable to attend the
classes, for this although they check out the university website for the lecture and
lessons, while website isn’t that efficient providing the lessons that a smartphone
application can provide. Any problem that is analysed can be an opportunity for the
development of any industry. In this same way, integration of a smartphone app can
be a great advantage for the development of the industry as well as it will enhance the
learning skills of the students by accessing the video lecture with visualization effect
in them. This isn’t still becoming a problem for the students out there but this can be
an opportunity for the development authority of the university that will be able to
provide easy access to the academics of the institution to the students. It this problem
will not be accessed then it may come to an end where most of the students won’t be
able to have the proper knowledge that they should have. Students may miss the
lectures due to any reason and won’t able to re-read them rapidly and will score lower
marks in the university examination which will affect them, their future and most
importantly the reputation of the institution, college or university.
