organisation has started the retailing of the alcoholic drinks through the pre-established
grocery stores. However, the globalisation practices can impact the business for the
profitability and sustainability. The presented report will undertake the project to understand
the impacts of the globalisation on the Alcoholic drinks in the UK. The report will design and
implement the project with the inclusion of qualitative and quantitative research. The
research methods and approaches will be analysed for their potential usability and
effectiveness in the context of the research. Also, collected data will be analysed and
processed to come up with the findings and recommendations.

The organisations are moving toward the global influence to achieve the aggressive growth
and sustainability in the modern economy of the twenty-first century. The trilogy of the
modern economy is built around the trade liberalisation, globalisation and revolution of the
information and communication technology (Baudand Durand, 2012). Tesco, the ninth
largest supermarket chain in the world also provides alcoholic drinks to the customers. The
presented project has the vision to understand the globalisation concepts and the impacts the
organisation may have.
Project management
A project is a temporary undertaken work for the desired outcome whereas project
management is the systematic set of the activities those can be executed to achieve the
competitive benefits and strategic outcome with proper alignment to the business capabilities
and constraints (Kerznerand Kerzner, 2017). Therefore, a project management process
involves the activities of the planning, implementation, monitoring, controlling and
finalisation of the project work. It has the following major stages:
Definition: The stage has the main role to prepare the project definitions on the selected
subject or area. It also defines the project work and its scope to the business or individual. It
has a clear conceptualisation of the subject and the outcomes.
Initialisation: The stage has the main role to initialise the role or task to the corresponding
