Project management plan
The project is being defined as an analysis that is being considered with an aim to accomplish
some particular aspect along with meeting objectives of the report. The management of a
project is categorized as an activity that assists alignment of efforts in a road of successful

of project management plan the present research can be completed through execution of all
mentioned steps in proper manner. The main aspects related to project management comprises
of initiative, plan, implementation, analysis and winding up. There is a presence of several
components that are needed by a researcher to attain the research objective which is being
discussed below:
Time period: The concept of time is shown as the most important aspect that is being
needed to fulfil the project goal within a specific time period. Setting up of particular
time period assists the present report to minimise any sort of delay or wastage of time
with fever discrepancies in project. In this context a timeline is being set which shows
estimation for the fulfilment of work within which each project is required to be
accomplished (Wang, Ren. and Liu, 2017). The project report is being connected with
several process for whose every step a specific time is being decided in order to avoid
any sort of risks or uncertainties in the project. The time which is being allotted for the
present research is three months. So that each and every task is being completed within
a time span of these three months.
Cost: The element of cost is being refereed as a combination of every expense that is
going to be considered in completion of present research within an adequate manner. In

project can be fixed with the help of which all the targets can be retained to the set target
for the present report (Cicmil and et . al., 2017). Through making clarity within the
scope a true picture can be identified related to the project activities.
Communication: This component can be taken as a major reason for the failure of
report. After finalizing the time period along with project scope the next stage is to have
interact the details with the concerned people who are related with the completion of
project report. The moment when all the necessary information is not been
communicated with all the parties the report will give birth to the scope of failure
because the information is not been circulated properly. It is essential to have effective
communication with concerned people along with all inputs as well as outputs that are
assimilated at single place. The present research report is required to have interaction

with an aim of detecting and mitigating various risks with a presence of which the tasks
can be experienced as wastage (Burnette, Williams and Imker, 2016).
Resources: These are referred as those components which assists the researcher to
complete the respective project within an estimated time period. For this a plan is
needed to be prepared with a title resource plan in a manner that each and every task is
being allotted with their required resources so to reach at line of finish. The main
resources that are being required for the completion of project are human resource,
machines and equipment’s, plant, etc. A project can be successfully achieved when all
the resources are being fully and efficiently utilized to their saturation point within a
specific time period. Work breakdown Structure

essential tool which carries out the burden of complete operation effectively in
systematically manner. E4xecuting the technique of Work breakdown structure is very
much beneficial as it bifurcate whole task into tiny segments with an aim that each task
will be attained effectively within a specific time period. The work breakdown structure
is an essential component that manages and organises the work within a single team in
proper sections. In the present report each task is being divided according to the
efficiency of work so to have fruitful and successful outcomes. It significantly divides
the whole task of identical nature in same column so that the work can be analysed in
easy manner.
Gantt chart
The term Gantt chart refers to a tool that is being utilized in order to decide a specific
time frame for a concerned project report through illustration of project schedule. The chart is
being related with different rows and columns within which the left side represents a list of

TASK 2
Research is a creative and systematic work in order to increase the stock of knowledge. It helps
with the collection organisation and analysis of information in order to enhance the
understanding of an issue (Masri and Abubakr, 2019). It includes several activities such as
connection, analysis, interpretation of data and many others. It is important for the researcher
to conduct it in that analysis of information so that they can get a fruitful conclusion at the end
of the study. The research can be done with the help of two methods which are discussed
below:
Qualitative research: it refers to a research in which the researcher used to to
investigate upon the non-numerical data. This can be done by gathering different
thoughts, visions and opinions of an individual (Mohammed, Baig and Gururajan,
2020). The managers of Tesco used to conduct research while adopting the qualitative
research as it is helpful for them in order to determine the needs and wants of their
customers in the competitive market.
Quantitative research: it is another type of research, where the investigator uses
research with respect to the numerical terms. In this the expressed data and information
with respect to numbers determined with the help of Different techniques such as
mathematical statically and others. It is formed from a deductive approach which
emphasizes a place of testing of theory (Almohtaseb and et.al., 2020).The main
objective behind this approach is to develop and employ mathematical modes theories
as it helps in measuring the centrality of qualitative research. With respect to the chosen
organisation, the managers of Tesco also adopt quantitative research which will be
helpful in order to gather the reliable data from their employees in lesser period of time.
They are implementing this approach because it provides a straightforward analysis
without any error. This helps the researchers to take an effective decision and gives a
prominent conclusion.
Data collection: it means a process of collecting data in order to analyse it. The data
can be connected with the help of two methods which includes primary or secondary
information (Hilman and Abubakar, 2017). When the researcher used to conduct its
research with the help of a primary source then they can get available information but it

took a longer period of time and cost to the investor. These kinds of information help in
representing the reliable and accurate data because these are collected for the first time
and helps in providing a prominent conclusion towards the study. When the investor
research with the help of secondary data where they are wrestling the primary data of
any other researcher and present it from the collection of previous data. There are
several sources which include magazines, journals, newspapers and many others.
In this report the quantitative technique is used by the researcher where they referred to the
date of the primary researcher which will be helpful to them to get a valid and reliable
conclusion.
Sampling: it is a process which refers to collecting data by selecting the appropriate
number of purses in the large population (Cascio and Boudreau, 2017). This method is
used in order to take the research among the huge number of people who are selected in
order to conduct such an investigation. In other words it can be seen that it plays an
essential role of methodology so that they can select the number of samples and analyse
such sampling in order to take a conclusion. This kind of research helps the researcher
to investigate in a shorter period of time. Tesco also uses probability sampling methods
among 30 peoples which are chosen at random basis and the main objective behind this
is not to invest more time why selecting the large sample and analysing them.
