INTRODUCTION
In business there are many issues get arise which impact on business organization as well as
their performance in marketplace. This report is based on TESCO company that run its business
in all over the world. It explains key issue facing by organization and also justifies the
management theory as suggestion. Define importance of CSR link to business strategy and
benefits for future generations and society. Furthermore, it clarifies impact of Brexit on company
and challenges and benefits while working in the team.
Main Body
Key issue that TESCO facing and management theory as suggestion
TESCO is the British international groceries and general merchandise and one of the
leading retailers in UK. Company serve their services to 66 consumers per second with over than
6,800 stores internationally (Cumming and Zahra, 2016). Due to poor wages employees get
demotivated at workplace which is one of the issues that has been faced by TESCO which
impact on their business as well as operational efficiency at global level. Wages is monetary
compensation or personnel expenses paid by the employer to their employees in exchange for
working with organization. If organization pay low wages to their workers, it means that staff
members productivity is also get lower than before which effect on TESCO several operations in
UK. With the help of contingency management theory company manager can be able to take
actions against the issue and handle the situation effectively. Contingency is management theory
that recommend most suitable style of management is reliable on situations. This theory is
suggested to TESCO manager as typically pay attention to issue that negatively effect on
company. Manager must communicate with their employees and try to understand their needs in
wages, after that they should talk to higher authority with the help of appropriate management
style and efforts to resolve the issue. This theory is beneficial for overall business as well as
operations of firm in order to sustain for longer term period. It helps to develop the ability to
analyse the situation and make better decision for the same. It is also beneficial for bulk of TESO
operations in UK and across the world.
Importance to relate Corporate social responsibility to strategy
CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is they kind of international private business self-
regulation (Coulter and Hancké, 2016). In recent time CSR is the concept whereby organizations
consider interest of economy or society by taking accountability for impact of its activities on

suppliers, workers and customers. It is very important for business to pay attention on CSR in
order to improve economic status as well as society in some ways. It is essential for TESCO to
link their strategies to Corporate Social Responsibility as it is beneficial for business as well as
economic well fare. Organization must contribute in Environmental sustainability which helps to
reduce water and land pollution and increase good and healthy environment around population
areas. In 2016, company commitment to contribute of 1.87% of their pre tax profits to local and
charities community companies which is beneficial for further generation. Computer for school
scheme is one step of TESCo towards CSR in which they offer computer in return for vouchers
provide to consumers and get donated by them to hospitals and schools. They implement this
scheme in Poland that positively impact on social well fare. Firm used stage change for good as
promoting which is trade marked by Unicef for charity reason not for retail or commercial use in
2009. On the other side company own labels household and personal care products is stated to be
cruelty free, which means that they are not tested on any animals.
Brexit affect TESCO
Brexit refer to UK decision make in June referendum to leave EU, the votes outcome
defined roiled global markets and expectation causing British pound to fail to their lower stage
against dollar. In short it is withdrawal of UK from European Union which impact on businesses
as well as their bulk of operations. Companies is being affected by Brexit and reduce their sales
and profitability rate than before. After Brexit EU company’s breakdown the business agreement
with UK organizations. Due to Brexit TESCO business will affect the most, they have to face
many issues due to lack of employment and in trade procedure. EU businesses were not has been
able to deal with UK firms which bring many challenges for them. After Brexit many peoples
were lost their jobs and that impact on economic statues (Probst, 2015). TESCO due to Brexit
lost talented peoples who can be able to help for running their range of operations effectively.
Company need to hire more applicants which is essential for business growth but on the other
side it impact on their financial budgets and profit margin the most. Government also changed
their trading policies and charge high for trading procedure which directly impact on TESCO
profitability after Brexit, as it can be shows that Brexit will affect on firm negatively.
Organization need to pay tax according to policies in order to run their business effectively that
impact on its productivity as well as profitability.

Challenges and Benefits of working in the team and skills need to develop
While delivering and preparing the group presentation I can be able to communicate with all
my members effectively. Collaboration is one of the benefits that I feel in my self as increase
than before, with the help of working in team I can be able to improve my collaboration skills
and also improve my working abilities and permit brainstorming. With the help of working in
group of many peoples I can be capable to developed more ideas and also be able to improve
productivity which is beneficial for me as well as business. But on the other side I face many
challenges while working in the team due to inability to resolve issues which affect on my
performance. I cannot be able to make better decision due to inability of resolving situations that
is not appropriate for my professional as well as personal career growth.
CONCLUSION
From above it has been summarized that poor wages are one of the biggest issues that
impact on TESCO business success and growth. On the other hand, corporate social
responsibility is important for company to relate with their strategies in order to sustain for
longer and provide many benefits to society and UK economy. Furthermore, it has been
concluded that Brexit put negative as well as positive impact on TESCO.
