the researcher to make a better research against project objectives. On the basis of previous CSR
projects a cost can be assumed by the researcher which is around 100 Pound .

determine a research method which can help to them to conduct a research. Some of the methods
are here which can be used in this project;
Qualitative research method: This is method which can help to researcher to get reviews and
information from targeted audiences (Nasrullah and Rahim, 2014). This is types of research
method has focus on the understandings of the audiences on their social life in words not in the
numerical data. It is prior for the analyser to get informations from employees and customers of
TESCO which can help to them to make a better change in the organisational workings. It can
help to them what are the problems which employees of TESCO are facing related to
environment. By this they can determine what types of effective change they can make in the
buildings and process which can help to them to make a better change in the company. As
TESCO is having more more than 400 superstores in the whole UK so it is enough that they are
effecting a lot customers in a day and they are having a large number of employees in the
organisation which are working for them so it is essential for them to take their views and feel
about the TESCO super stores. This one can help to them to identify what types of changes they
can make in the organisation which can help to them to make a better change according to
environmental needs of society and human body.
Quantitative research method: This is a research method which is having much focus on getting
numerical data. Most of the data which occur from this type of research method is having in the
form of percentage and numerical range which can help to the researcher to take a proper action
according to this. Research method can help to them to make a better change in the workings but
it does not support to the analyser to get informations about what they feel while working in the
organisation and shopping the TESCO superstores for customers (Monachino and Moreira,
2014). It is essential for the data analyser to get all informations in a way which can help to them
what their employees and consumers feels while they are in superstores and as well as by
research analyse wants to know what types of changes can be done by the TESCO which can
help to them to be more environment friendly.
So above presented are methods which can help to the researcher to conduct a small scale
research, now here research methods are here which can be used after determining research
methods.
Primary research method: This is method to gather fresh informations and data from targeted
audiences which can help to them to make a better change in the company. Online survey,
6

questionnaire, postal, telephonic survey, test marketing which can help to the researcher to get
informations from targeted audiences (Serra and Kunc, 2015).
Secondary research method: Several methods are here which can be used to get informations
and data from targeted audiences. This is a method which focuses on the previous researches
which can help to get informations for this CSR project to researcher (Gido, Clements and
Clements, 2014). Census, journals and article can help in this where from researcher can take
informations and data to make changes in the organisational activities and infrastructures to be
more environment friendly.
For this project qualitative research method will be suitable because it is essential for the
researcher to get what their employees and customers feels in the organisation. Primary research
method can help to them to get informations about the CSR from the customers and employees.
This is a small scale research which has to be conducted on 20 candidates and it is a limited
sample size which represent customers and employees both.

According to this small scale research it is essential for the TESCO to make change sin
their air conditioning system. Currently they are using central air conditioning which are
polluting air by emitting more carbonic elements in air. So it is essential for the organisation to
make an appropriate changes in the central air conditioning. They have to adopt a natural process
to make cool place. They have to use a new process to for cooling their superstores and they
have to try a new process in their some stores which can help to them to set an example in front
of other stores.
P7 Reflection on the research
This is a research which is based on the TESCO to be more environment friendly, as
completing on this research I have gain the use of work break down structure and Gantt chart
which can help to me in my future projects. Most of the projects are having time frames needs so
learning on these can be help full in my future and I will use these learnings in my future
projects.
