Kingdom. It is listed on the London stock exchange. Its market is leading in the all over the UK.
Its market shares are approximate Thailand, Malaysia, Hungary and Ireland. The main object of
the project is to elaborate the globalization and its impacts in relation to the Tesco business
success. In the research project, it describes the globalization impacts, concept, and critical
implications for business. In the research project, it explains the effects of globalization,
company strategies.

Introduction
The report basically aims at explaining the various affects of globalization on different functions
of business (operations, marketing, HR, Accounting functions). Globalization is considered as
the force which helps in shaping the contemporary world that is affecting environment as well as
society. In order to determine accurate results data has been collected by conducting both
primary as well as secondary research. The overall research in report will be done in accordance

of methods which includes descriptive and experimental. In the descriptive approach, it defines

as well. Globalisation has been making the impacts on a massive level on the companies that it
has been changing the way the companies perform its operational activities as well. Globalisation
brings the trend of open and global trade, which has been productive and positive as well on the
companies. It has many benefits which come along with the globalisation, which helps to change
the way that companies perform its operational activities as well.
In the words of Kassen, (2014), Globalisation helps to increased international trade, which was
one of the most important benefits or positive impact raised by the globalisation on the
companies. With the help of this impact, the companies now can quickly expand their businesses
into different countries. International open trade helps the companies to increase the target
customers of the companies globally. It develops various opportunities for the companies to
become successful and growth as well.
As per Ghobadian, et. al., (2014) The major impact globalisation made that if they help the
economies of the countries develop. It became conducive to the developing countries because
foreign investments and multinational companies will be helpful to make a considerable growth
of the economies of those countries as hello. It helps to increase capital and mobility of the
labour as well. It helps the companies to find out different sort of workers from other countries,
which will be helpful to the companies to reduce the labour costs and increase the profitability as
well. Globalisation will be beneficial to increase the global economic cycle, which plays a vital
role in different countries global growth as well.
In the words of Mikalauskiene, et. al., (2016) Globalisation helped different companies to make
some changes to the operational activities because it impacted on the companies on a colossal
level. With the help of globalisation, now the companies can understand that they should develop
and follow some workforce standards. Employees are considered as the most important part of
any organisation. Companies should make changes in workforce standards, and it will going to
make increase the productivity as well in an organisation. Globalisation made it easy for the
companies to hire different employees from different countries, background and diverse culture
as well which made it really required that the companies provide employee diversity training
programs as well.
According to Stiglitz, (2014) It will be helpful to the employees to make secure connections with
each other from different cultural backgrounds, which will be useful to the employees to build
strong relationships with co-workers. It helps to increased productivity.
