INTRODUCTION
Organization refers to an institution which the different types of activities which are
linked with Business are carried out with an aim of attaining the future goals and objectives in a
proper way (Ali and Anwar, 2021). Therefore, it is quite important that the various types of
dynamic aspects related with the organization are considered while formulating strategies for the
future. For this report, Tesco has been chosen. It is a British Company which provides a wide
variety of retail products and services to the people. In this essay, a detailed and specific focus
will be made on the Human Resources. Additionally, a detailed and specific focus will also be
made on the Learning Theories as a part of this project.
MAIN BODY
Question 1-
In an organization, there are different types of employees who are hired to perform
specific roles and responsibilities which are allotted to them (Cabore and et.al., 2020). Therefore,
it becomes quite important that the management of these particular roles and responsibilities can
be done in a proper manner. Therefore, it is highly necessary to ensure that the employees are
aware about their job activities and responsibilities. The job activities and responsibilities of the
employees in Tesco are as follows-
The employees of Tesco are required to ensure that they can fulfil the specific tasks
which are allocated to them so that they are able to make sure that they can effectively
and efficiently contribute towards the success of the company.
The employees of Tesco should be able to make sure that they can effectively and
efficiently manage the particular level of needs and requirements which have been set
according to their job role so that they can make the right progress in the future in a
proper manner.
There are different types of methods which are used for the purpose of training the employees.
The explanation of such methods can be made as follows-
On The Job Training- It is quite important that the right On The Job Training is
provided to the employees. In this method, the employees are trained once they join a
particular organization and thus the training is provided while working. The use of this
method can be made in Tesco for the purpose of training the employees.

Off The Job Training- It is also necessary that the right Off The Job Training can be
provided to the employees. In this method, the training is provided at a particular place
which is different from the workplace. The use of this particular method can be made in
Tesco so that the employees are trained properly.
Apprenticeship Training- It is also important that the right Apprenticeship Training is
provided to the various types of employees (George and et.al., 2020). In this method, the
training is provided to an Apprentice by an experienced person who is skilful in a
particular field. Therefore, for an organization like Tesco it is quite important to make its
use so that the better training can be provided to the workers in a proper way.
There are various types of Advantages and Disadvantages of these particular methods. They can
be discussed in the following manner-
Advantages and Disadvantages of On The Job Training-
Advantages- It is quite a simple method of learning. Also it is an economic method of learning.
Disadvantages- Not everyone possesses the skill of teaching. Also it is a rushed process.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Off The Job Training-
Advantages- It is an effective method of providing the training to the employees. It also leads
towards a high-level of productivity by the employees.
Disadvantages- It is an expensive method of providing the training to the employees. It can also
lead towards dissatisfaction from the employees.
Advantages and Disadvantages of Apprenticeship Training-
Advantages- The use of this method helps in enhancing the skills of the employees. It also helps
in enhancing the confidence level of the employees.
Disadvantages- In this type of training there is a tough competition for the employees. It also
leads towards lower salary for the various types of employees.
Recommendations- All of these methods can be used by Tesco for providing the training to its
different types of employees. It is quite important for the HR department of the company to
make sure that the substantial improvements can be made so that the right-level of training can
be provided to the workers which will help them a lot and will therefore enhance their overall
level of productivity in the future.

There are various types of learning theories which can be used by the learners to be able
to enhance their overall level of learning in a proper manner (Mitchison and Field, 2021). The
use of these Learning Theories can be made so that the enhancement in the overall knowledge
can be made quite effectively and efficiently.
The various types of learning theories which can be used are explained as follows-
Cognitive Psychology Theory- In this theory, it is understood that learning is a process
through which the required knowledge can be gained (Moris and et.al., 2020). Therefore,
in this way it can be stated that the use of this particular theory can be made so that the
right knowledge is passed to the learners which will help in their overall level of
development in the future.
Constructivism- According to this theory, the learners are perceived as sense-makers
who not only record the information but also analyse and interpret it quite effectively and
efficiently. Thus, in this way it can be stated that the use of this theory can be quite
helpful in ensuring that the learners are able to manage their wide variety of needs and
requirements in an appropriate manner.
Social Learning Theory- This is a theory according to which it is suggested that the
people can learn within a social context and the facilitation of learning can be done
through the use of concepts like modeling, observational learning and imitation. Thus, it
can be stated that through making the use of these methods the people can make sure that
they can develop their learning abilities in a better way.
Experiential Learning- This is a theory which makes the use of various types of
experiments so that the learners are able to develop and enhance their overall level of
learning in quite a proper manner (Qizi, Uktamovna and Khairullaevna, 2020). Therefore,
it can be stated that the use of this method can be made so that the right training can be
provided to the learners in a proper way.
Kolb's theory- In this theory, there is a four stage learning cycle. Its stages are Concrete
Experience, Reflective Observation, Abstract Conceptualization and Active Experimentation.
Therefore, it is highly important that a proper understanding about these stages can be developed
in a right manner.
Relevance of this theory- This theory is still relevant even in today's time because it can be used
for the purpose of identifying the way in which the learners can gain the right experience so that

they are able to make its use for the purpose of bringing an enhancement in the own skills and
competencies in the future. Thus this theory can be used to understand the needs and
requirements of the learners and providing them with training accordingly so that they are able to
attain their learning goals and objectives in the future.
There is a particular importance of developing an understanding about the learning styles
(Yang, Albats and Etzkowitz, 2021). The explanation of this importance can be made in the
following manner for the following-
Employees- For the employees it becomes quite important because through making its
use the workers can make sure that they are able to enhance their overall learning in the
right way. Therefore, it is necessary that the employees are able to adopt a particular
learning style according to which they can make sure to fulfil their learning needs and
requirements quite appropriately.
Line Managers- For the Line Managers it is very crucial that through making the use of
the right learning style they are able to provide the training to the employees. In this way,
it can be said that the Line Manager will be able to make sure that they are able to make
the employees of the organization work in an efficient manner effectively and efficiently.
Learning and Development Specialists- For the Learning and Development Specialists
it is highly essential that the appropriate learning style is chosen so that they can make
sure that they can identify the areas where the employees are facing problems so that the
problems which are being faced by them can be solved. Therefore, in this way it can be
stated that the enhancement in the overall level of skills and competencies of the learners
can be carried out in a proper manner.
CONCLUSION
From the above report, it can be concluded that Organization refers to an institution
where the Business Activities can be carried out. Human Resources are quite useful for a
particular organization and therefore the management has to focus on them to enhance their
overall development. Learning theories can be used in a proper way so that the development of
the learning can be done in the right way.
