Introduction
Human resource management plays an important role in the success of an organization. it
deals with the management of the employees at work and maintains their efficiency and
performance in their work (Bailey, et.al, 2018). Tesco PLC is a British multinational company
is general merchandise and groceries retailer with its headquarters in England UK. It is
considered as the third largest retailer in terms of its gross revenue. The management of
Tesco PLC is focusing on efficient human resource management in its work environment.
This report is going to describe the purpose and scope of human resource management in
terms of workforce planning in the organization and also the effectiveness of human
resource practice will be analyzed to know its importance for both employee and employer.
Further, it will include the discussion on internal and external factors that affects the
decision making of human resource management and application of human resource
practice in the work environment of Tesco organization will be discussed in that report.
