INTRODUCTION
Information technology is playing vital role in success of business. This is because it has
provided a platform for them to expand at global level and provide products and services to
them. apart from that, IT has also helps in enhancing operational efficiency of business by which
they are able to attain goals and objectives in effective way. It is stated that there are many
technology used by organisation that are AI, IOT, AR, VR, etc. apart from that, the use of
technology has enabled in improving weak areas and maintaining quality of product as well. in
this report it will be described about role of IT in business success. Also, what are ethical and
social issues. Besides that, different types of network technology been used company is
explained and SDLC stages.
Role of IT in business success
IT is playing vital role in success of business. It has provided opportunity to them on
basis of which they are able to reach more customers and produce new products. Moreover, IT
has become an integral part of organisation. In every function it is been used such as marketing,
SCM, HR, R&D, etc. Similarly, in Tesco as well IT is used in various operations such as :
Customer services – here, CRM software is installed and used by firm which has led to providing
high quality care services to customers. Moreover, the software has enabled in storing data and
