not easy task for the company because there are many drivers that affects organisations
performance and growth. In this context, TESCO is undertaken for evaluating drivers that leads
change in organisation' management and operations Drivers are the factors that become the
reason for change in management of organisation (Awoyera and et. al., 2017). Drivers should be
identify and analyse by organisation so that they can take necessary corrective actions to deal
with them. Drivers can be innovation, brand value, competition, technological, etc. Drivers can
be internally and externally. External are not handle by organisation, they are always accept
them. All drivers should be identify so that TESCO can make strategies and policies in order to
reduce risk and uncertainties. It can be identify and analysed with the help of PESTLE analysis.
PESTLE analysis
PESTLE analysis is very important tool for the organisation as it assist in identifying the
factors that affect functions and operations. PESTLE analysis identifies external factors that
become the reason for change. It helps in finding drivers that leads to change in organisation.
TESCO is the organisation that deal in many countries so that's why they get affected by many
factors that are explained with the help of PESTLE analysis.
Political Factors: It is the factor in which organisation need to make sure that the country
in which they perform should not be negatively affect on organisations' operations. It is very
important for TESCO that they analyse the political situation of country. It is identified that

2018). They can get positive impact with this feature. They have stability in taxations and
government policies that reduce the risk of change.
Economical Factors: It is the factor in which TESCO need to analyse economic situation
of country. It is found that growth rate of UK is not increase because of pandemic situation that
they face. It is one of the top countries that badly affected due to pandemic situation. All
organisation get badly affect because of lock down. TESCO face complexity to run their
business in this time. They are trying to implement strategies to handle situation.
Social Factors: It is the factor in which TESCO try to run their business with current
trends. They have a opportunity to run their businesses in such a manner that impress their

market so that they can satisfy their consumers' wants and desires.
Technological Factors: Now TESCO follows new technological up gradation so that the
can run their business with time. They are now sell their products on online portal and trying to
improve digital business.
Legal Factors: TESCO has no legal factors that badly affect their business because they
are always make sure that they are complying all rules and regulations.
Ecological Factors: Now TESCO focuses on sustainable growth with the help of using
renewable goods (Perera, 2017). It is very important for organisation that they should take
initiatives for fulfilling CSR.
