INTRODUCTION
The power point presentation is based on analysis of a problem which has been
identified at work place. The selected company for this power point is Tesco plc and
they are facing problem of ineffective communication at workplace. In further part of
PPT, cause and effect analysis of mentioned problem is also described. In the further
part of PPT, SWOT analysis of selected company is also done in detailed manner.

Nature and impact (actual and potential) of the complex
problem on the workplace:
Nature of problem: as above discussed that Tesco plc is facing problem of poor
communication at work place. Below nature of above problem has been discussed in
such manner:
 The problem is related to poor communication between managers and employees.
 This problem has both internal and external dimensions in the context of above
organization.

Impact of problem:
The problem has significant impact on above
companies perform whose detailed analysis is
done in such manner:
 Impact on company’s performance: The
above mentioned issue has a significant
impact on above company’s performance
due to lack of communication (Bergman,
Dellve and Skagert, 2016). The employees
are not able to share their issues and
obstacles with managers which is leading
to negative impact on Tesco’s performance.

Cause-and-effect analysis of the complex problem:
Cause of problem: In the context of above mentioned below
key causes are mentioned in such manner which are as follows:
 Culture clash: This is one of the major cause of issue in
above mentioned company. In detailed term, the reason of
issue is different types of culture and conflicts (Ramadanty
and Martinus, 2016). Due to different culture and language
this becomes difficult to establish an effective
communication among employees and managers. So this is
the main reason of lack of communication in the context of
above mentioned company.

Effect of problem:
 Decreased volume of productivity- This is the possible
effect of above mentioned problem in above mentioned
company. If employees will not discuss their issues with
their managers than there will not be any other solution to
overcome from issue of lower productivity.
 Higher employee turnover- It is also an another issue
which can effect above company’s performance due to
effective communication (Kegeyan, 2016). If there will be
no communication between employees and managers than
employees might resign from their posts without informing
to authority.

SWOT analysis of Tesco plc
SWOT analysis of Tesco plc: The SWOT analysis is one of
effective tool in order to assess various kinds of aspects of a
company. Below this tool has been applied in the aspect of
above organization:

From above mentioned solutions, Tesco plc needs to apply a suitable alternative which is
the effective hierarchy system. If there will be less limitations to do communication and
less barrier than there will be direct communication between employees and managers.

CONCLUSION
On the basis of above PPT, this can be concluded that Tesco plc need to apply an
effective way to deal with their communication issue which is establishing an
appropriate hierarchy system. This can be effective for Tesco due to less number of
communication barriers for creating the smooth coordination.
